NSIC Player of the Week
#12 Jordyn Thomas (1B, 5-11, Sr., Hermantown, Minn. / Hermantown HS) - Minnesota Duluth

- Helped UMD to a 5-0 start to the season at the MSU Dome Invite
- Batted .450 (9-of-20) with a double, a triple and a three-run home run
- Slugged .750 with seven RBI and five runs scored
- Totaled 15 total bases with a .450 on-base percentage
- Added 48 putouts and two assists from her first base position

NSIC Pitcher of the Week
#20 Sam Pederson  (RHP, 5-4, Sr., North Branch, Minn. / North Branch HS) - Minnesota Duluth

- Went 2-0 in three appearance at the MSU Dome Invite
- Posted a 1.31 ERA scattering three earned runs over the three appearances
- Held opponents to a .175 batting average after allowing 10 hits over 16 innings
- Struck out 11 batters while allowing just one extra base hit

Other Top Performances - Players
Kennedy Buckman (AUGIE)
had an outstanding start to the seasoan with a .364 average on 8 hits with 7 RBI. She started the season with a 2-for-4 contest including the first extra base hit for AU at No. 22 Texas A&M - Commerce. She recorded a 2-for-4 game with 2 RBI and a double in the win over No. 16 Southern Arkansas. She totaled 12 putouts and 22 assists at second base.
#8 Amanda Parsons (CSP) scored six runs on seven hits in the Dome Tournament in Mankato. She added a double, a home run while batting .500 with a 1.374 OPS as the Golden Bears started the season 4-1.
Kaylee Kannegiesser (UMary) went 9-for-15 with one walk in Minot State’s Bubble Invite. She came home to score three times and drove in three runs throughout the four games. 
#2 Jordan Peterson (UMC) had six RBI in a win over Valley City State as she hit .444 through three games played. She collected three doubles and slugged .778 through three starts.
Torey Richards (MSU) led the Mavericks with seven hits and a .412 batting average. She led the team in RBI with 11 and recorded three doubles vs. Northwest Missouri State. -She notched her 200th career hit versus Washburn and now has 201 career hits.
Jamie Odlum (MINOT) led the Beavers to a weekend sweep at Minot State’s Bubble Invite, going 7-for-13 in four games with 5 RBI and three triples.
 
Other Top Performances - Pitcher
#9 Bryanna Olson (CSP) went 3-1 at the Dome Tournament weekend. She recorded 26 strikeouts in 22.0 innings for a 0.95 ERA and a  1.23 WHIP. 
#8 Evie Stuck (UMC) earned her first career shutout in her first career start on Saturday against Dakota Wesleyan. She owns a 0.55 ERA through two starts. She has nine strikeouts and just two walks in two starts. She gave up just one earned run on the weekend. 
Mackenzie Ward (MSU) went 2-1 with a 1.65 ERA and 30 strikeouts last weekend. She recoded a save and threw 17.0 innings. She held opposing batters to a .209 batting average. She threw a six-inning shutout against Northwest Missouri State where she stuck out 10 batters, while allowing just one hit.
Trinity Valentine (MINOT) led the way in the circle with a pair of wins for Minot State in the Beavers’ Bubble Invite as she threw two complete-game victories, striking out 18 opposing batters in 14 innings and allowing just 4 earned runs.
#11 Shelby Bloemendaal (SMSU) threw her 14th career complete game and third career shutout in an 8-0 victory over Northwest Missouri State. She tied her career-high with six strikeouts while allowing just five hits and a walk. She also got it done at the plate, going a career-best 3 for 4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.
