BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The pairings for the 2022 NSIC Women's Tennis Tournament are set as the 11-match NSIC schedule concluded Monday.  Augustana, which won its 12th straight NSIC regular season championship, will be the number one seed in the eight-team single elimination tournament, which will take place on Friday-Sunday, April 22-24 at Huether Family Match Pointe in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
 
Augustana has won 140 straight NSIC matches, with its last loss coming back on April 19, 2009 to Minnesota State.  Since joining the NSIC in 2008-09, the Viking are 147-3 in NSIC matches, have won 12 straight NSIC regular season titles and the last 10 NSIC Tournaments. The Vikings have won their last 28 NSIC Tournament matches as well.

First round pairings on Friday, April 22 have (2) Winona State taking on (7) Sioux Falls at 9 a.m.  At 11:30 a.m. (3) Southwest Minnesota State will take on (6) Upper Iowa.  At 2 p.m. (1) Augustana takes on (8) St. Cloud State and the 4:30 p.m. match has (4) Minnesota State versus (5) the University of Mary.  All match start times are subject to change if earlier matches run long. No matches will begin early than the announced start time. 
 
Both semifinal matches will be play Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. with the championship match set for Sunday, April 24 at 10 a.m.
 
TIE-BREAKERS
MSU/UMary/SMSU:  SMSU earned the third seed as it defeated MSU and UMary head-to-head; MSU earned the fourth seed as it defeated UMary head-to-head.
SCSU/BSU: SCSU earned eighth seed as they defeated Bemidji State during regular season.
