#7 John Nett (OF, 5-10, 190, R-So., R/R, Appleton, Wis. / Kimberly HS) – St. Cloud State
- Hit .556 after going 10-of-18 from the plate with a 1.222 slugging percentage
- Drove in eight runs, scored 11 and added three home runs and three triples
- Added six stolen bases as SCSU has won eight straight games
- Had multiple hits in all but one game over the week
- Matched a career-high with 4 RBI in a 7-1 series-opening win over SMSU
#28 Seth Miller (RHP, 5-10, 225, Jr., R/R, Blaine, Minn. / Blaine HS) – Augustana
- Pitched a 7.0 inning complete-game shutout in the Vikings' 6-0 win over Northern State
- Allowed just four hits, holding the Wolves to a .167 batting average
- Struck out four batters and is now 6-2 on the season
Other Top Performances - Player
Will Olson (AUGIE) helped Augustana to a 4-1 record as he batted .529 over 17 at-bats. He totaled three doubles and two home runs in the stretch and recorded eight RBI with a 1.059 slugging percentage. He also recorded a .579 on-base percentage.
#29 Noah Hull (UMary) had a walk-off solo home run in a 8-7 win over Sioux Falls, which kicked off the first of five straight wins for the week. He followed up with a home run in game 2 as UMary tied the school record for home runs in a game with six. He had a home run and 5 RBIs in 6-2 win over UMD on Saturday. He had hits in four of five games and finished the week with 3 home runs, 4 runs scored and 9 RBIs on a line of .313/.421/.875 (5-of-16) with an OPS of 1.269.
#34 Ross Indlecoffer (MSU) led the Mavericks with 15 total bases and three home runs last week en route to an undefeated week. He led MSU with a slugging percentage of .882 on the week. He was second on the squad over the course of last week's five games with eight RBI. He batted 5-for-17 (.294) with a double and three home runs as well as a pair of walks. He scored five runs and had one hit in each of the Mavericks' five games.
#28 Cardoso Kaiden (MINOT) led the team in hits with 8 and share the team lead in RBIs with 9 in four neutral-site games.
#19 Spencer Sarringar (NSU) batted 4-for-15 (.267) in four games this past week for Northern State. He totaled one double, two homeruns, four RBI, four runs scored, and one stolen base. In a sweep of Minot State on Friday afternoon he went 3-for-8 with two homeruns, four RBI, and four runs scored. Both of his homeruns against Minot State came in the second game, and his solo homerun in the top of the tenth inning was the difference in the game.
Connor King (USF), in leading USF Baseball to a 3-2 record, including a three-game sweep against CSP, hit .526 with 10 hits in 19 at bats. He scored four runs, had a double and home run with eight RBI from the number two slot in the lineup. King had 14 total bases, .737 slugging mark, .545 OBP and a stolen bases while flawlessly handling 12 putouts for a 1.000 fielding mark.
#9 Andrew Hanson (WSC) posted a .524 average in five games (11-21) with three doubles, two triples, 8 RBI and four runs scored. He hit safely in all five games, highlighted by 6 for 7 game with two triples, two doubles and six RBI in 15-14 11 inning win at Minnesota Duluth. He was 2 for 4 with two RBI in 6-4 Saturday loss at #10 Augustana. For the week he had a .545 on-base percentage and .857 slugging percentage.
#9 Carter Brinkman (WSU) put together a strong week at the plate across five games for Winona State against Bemidji State and Minnesota State Mankato. He was 8-for-20 (.400) at the plate across five games and had a double and scored three times with 3 RBI.
Other Top Performances - Pitcher
#13 Austin Wagner (UMary) set a school record with 15 strikeouts in the Marauders 6-3 win over the Bulldogs on Saturday. He allowed 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits in 5.2 innings. He only walked one hitter. It was his third time in 8 starts with 11 or more strikeouts.
#9 Cam Kline (MSU) pitched a complete game en route to a 7-2 victory over UMC, last Wednesday. He threw seven innings where he allowed two runs (one earned), walked one but struck out eight in the outing. He owned an opponent batting average of .192 over seven innings of work. This marked his fifth start and appearance on the mound of the 2022 campaign, he improved to 5-0 on year in the victory.
#32 Dominick Parkhurst (MINOT) led the way with one of the Beavers two wins on the week, striking out 8 in a six-inning effort on the hill, giving up just two runs on three hits.
#16 Seth Brewer (NSU) earned his first win of the season in a 6-5 victory over Minot State on Friday afternoon, where he pitched 3.0 innings, allowed only one hit, did not allow any runs, and stuck out two batters. In two appearances in Friday's doubleheader sweep of the Beavers, he pitched 4.0 innings, allowed only two hits, did not allow any runs, and struck out five batters.
Matt Graham (USF), improving to 3-4 this season in a 7-2 win over Concordia St. Paul, USF Baseball's Matt Graham had a noteworthy outing, including working the longest start of any USF starter this year. Graham allowed just four hits and two runs while recording eight strikeouts across eight innings. In his longest outing of his career, he threw 119 pitches and faced 29 hitters on a day when it was 41 degrees and windy. The eight strikeouts by Graham, who has 30 on the season, was the second best total in his career.
#21 Luke Tupy (SCSU) spun a 5-inning gem and earned the victory in St. Cloud State's 12-0 win over SMSU on April 15. He returned to the mound for the first time since March 19, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out six in five innings. With the win, Tupy improved to 3-0 on the season and lowered his ERA to 2.16. - Despite missing almost a month of action, Duffy's 40 strikeouts this season ranks third on the team.
#25 Andrew Staebell (WSC) fired his second straight complete game win, holding No. 10 Augustana to one run on five hits in 2-1 win Saturday. He struck out seven batters and walked two in 111 pitch outing. He held opponent to .208 batting average in win.
#3 Justin Firpo (WSU) collected a key win for Winona State in an impressive outing against Bemidji State this week. He went 4.1 innings, allowing just two hits, struck out six while walking only two. He also threw a shut out inning vs. Minnesota State Mankato, earning one strikeout.
