NSIC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Jackson Harrison (Gr., Aberdeen, S.D. / Central HS) - Northern State
- Won the 8K SDSU Classic by over six seconds
- Ran a personal best time of 25:01.61
- Average mile time was 5:02.1
- Cut over 40 seconds off his personal best 8K time from a year ago

Other Top Performances
Dawson Strom (UMary) placed eighth in the Dragon Twilight to lead the Marauders to a 3rd place finish. He finished 3rd among NCAA Division II runners on the 6K course with a time of 18:05.15.

Jack VanKempen (UMD) won the UMD Bulldog Open with a 5k time of 15:22 to help UMD take the team title. 

Adnew Stueven (MSUM) was the top MSUM finisher at the Dragon Twilight as he finished 14th with a 6K time of 18:49.46, helping Dragons to fifth place finish. 

Jacob Jensen (MINOT) claimed his first victory of the season as he won the Dragon Twilight.  He smashed the Minot State school record in the 6K by more than a minute, winning in 17:48.53.

David Ecker (USF) placed eighth out of 72 in the 8k at the SDSU Classic with a time of 25:31.8. A part of three top 10 finishers that finished within 5 seconds of each other. He helped lead the men's team to a second place team finish.

Mitchell Johnstone (WSU), in his first collegiate race, was the top Winona State finisher in the 2022 University of Wisconsin Green Bay Phoenix Open. He ran a 27:21.6 in the 8K race, good for fifth place overall. He helped lead Winona State to a runner-up team finish.

The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
