NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#20 Katie Anderson (F, 5-8, Jr., San Diego, Calif. / West Hills HS) - Concordia-St. Paul

- Scored a goal in the 2-0 victory against Minnesota Crookston
- Recorded the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Bemidji State
- Took five shots on goal in 126 minutes on the weekend
- Ranks second in the conference with 35 shots and third with 13 shots on goal
- Averages a point a game with three goals and an assist this season

NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#22 Eli Olsen (D, 5-10, Jr., Buffalo, Wyo. / Buffalo HS) - University of Mary

- Scored two goals and anchored a back line that allowed no goals and two shots on frame 
- Led a defense that didn’t allow a shot on frame by USF and just two by SMSU
- UMary allowed just 9 total shots in the two games
- Scored the Marauders opening goal in a 4-0 victory over USF on a header off a corner kick
- Added a second half goal against the Cougars for her third of the season
- Named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season (9/6/22)

NSIC Goalkeeper of the Week
#1 Maddie Kindred (GK, 5-8, R-Sr., Soldotna, Alaska / Soldotna) - Minot State

- Picked up her second and third shutout of the season for the Beavers
- Totaled 10 saves and faced three corner kicks
- Matched her season high of 9 saves in a 1-0 shutout of Southwest Minnesota State
- Made one save in a 0-0 tie with Sioux Falls

Other Top Performances
OFFENSE
#24 Ellie Schock (AUGIE)
scored two goals in Augustana’s 4-3 victory over MSU Moorhead. She logged two goals on two shots on goal. Her second goal of the game was the game-winning goal for Augustana.
#12 Kendra Park (UMary) posted a goal and two assists in a 4-0 win over Sioux Falls. She sealed the win with a goal for 2-0 lead. She assisted on both second half UMary goals. She is third in the NSIC in goals (3), 2nd in assists (3) and 2nd in points (9).
#4 Jenny Vetter (MSU) scored with 7 seconds left to help tie Bemidji State. It was her 50th goal of her career as she moved into third place on MSU’s all-time goals list. 
#9 Jensen Seidel (MSUM) scored two goals during Dragons’ home games against Augustana and Wayne State, scoring one in each game. She leads the team with two goals.
#7 Chloe Allan (MINOT) scored the game-winning goal, her first of the season, in a 1-0 home victory Friday over Southwest Minnesota State. She added 2 shots in a 0-0 draw on Sunday with Sioux Falls.
#32 Mia Zagorski (NSU) scored the game winning goal for the Wolves in the 4-0 victory over Wayne State this past weekend. Her goal against WSC was her second of the season and second game winner of the season. In games against Wayne State and Augustana this weekend she totaled four shots, two shots-on-goal, and one goal.
#16 Megan Kirby (SCSU) led St. Cloud State to a 2-0 win over Winona State on Friday, scoring both of the Huskies goals in the victory.  The two goals marked the first multi-goal game of Kirby’s career, who now has three career goals to her credit, all coming in 2022. Kirby leads the Huskies with three goals this season, and ranks third in the NSIC in goals. 
#6 Riley Harmon (WSU) scored two goals in a 3-1 WSU win over UMD. She logged four points on the weekend and played 78 total minutes between the two matches. She is now tied for the team lead in goals scored (3).

DEFENSE
#97 Mackenzie Ternes (AUGIE)
held opponents to just three shots on goal in Augustana’s 0-0 tie against Northern State. She helped the defense hold MSU Moorhead to seven shots on goal in a 4-3 victory.
#11 Tori Miller (CSP) captained the defense to a pair of shutouts. She limited opposing teams to only 12 shots and three on goal. She totaled 156 minutes on the weekend. 
#24 Natalie Thoen (MSU) was the anchor to MSU’s defense against BSU playing all 90 minutes. She also had three points against UMC.
#25 Grace Heying (MSUM) was part of a Dragon effort that went 0-1-1, but included a 4-3 competitive game with Augustana and a 2-2 tie with Wayne State. Played 124 minutes on the weekend.
#33 Sierra Haren (MINOT) anchored the Minot State defense in a pair of shutouts as she played all 90 minutes in both games while adding four shots in Friday’s 1-0 win, and 3 shots in a scoreless draw Sunday.
#12 Paige Hutton (NSU) played a critical role in leading the Wolves defense to a pair of shutouts this past weekend, scoring a goal off a corner kick in a 4-0 victory over Wayne State and playing the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Augustana. In the win over WSC she played 59 minutes and scored off her only shot attempt of the game, recording her second goal of her career and first of the season.
#27 Bailey Deininger (WSU) helped Winona State earn a 1-1 record over the weekend on the road in matches at St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth. She led all field players in minutes played with 174 and held UMD to just one goal in the WSU 3-1 win. She helped lead Warriors to their fourth win of the season. 

GOALKEEPER
#1 Jillian  Barkus (AUGIE)
made three saves in a 0-0 shutout tie against Northern State. She faced 22 shots in two games as she also recorded a win against MSU Moorhead.
#99 Ashlyn Waldon (CSP) recorded a pair of saves in the shutout victory against Bemidji State. She ranks fifth in the conference with a .909 goals against average. She totaled 135 minutes in her two starts on the weekend.
#1 Madisyn Waltman (UMary) led Marauders to a pair of shutout wins (4-0 v USF, 1-0 v SMSU). She played 80 minutes in net against the Cougars and faced 4 shots, none on frame. She posted two saves and faced 4 shots to post clean sheet against SMSU. She made huge save in 85th minute to preserve Sunday’s victory.
#0 Mackenzie Rath (MSU) earned her 15th career shutout against UMC.  She moves into fourth in MSU’s all-time shutouts. She faced 16 shots this weekend.
#1 Simone Lewald (MSUM) recorded nine saves in 2-2 tie with Wayne State, helped keep the Wildcats off the board for the final 61 minutes.
#00 Alexus Townsend  (NSU) led the Wolves to a pair of shutouts this past weekend, earning a combined shutout in a 4-0 win over Wayne State and earned the shutout in goal with a 0-0 tie with Augustana. She totaled nine saves this weekend for an average of 4.5 saves per game, and grabbed a weekend high of six saves in Sunday’s match against the Vikings.
#1 Holli Knudsen (USF) allowed no goals on 13 shots in a draw against Minot State. 
#01 Chloe Swanson (WSU) was key to the WSU success in their 1-1 record on the road in a pair of NSIC contests. She earned the win in goal against Minnesota Duluth, a 3-1 victory. She played the full 180 minutes in net for the Warriors. She registered 8 saves on the weekend and moved her overall record to 4-1-1 in her six starts.
