NSIC North Division Player of the Week
#24 Brooke Olson (F, 6-2, Gr., Rice Lake, Wis. / Rice Lake HS) - Minnesota Duluth
- Average 32.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, with three assists and three blocked shots
- Shot 27-42 (64.3%) from the field across two double-digit road
- Registered a career-high 35 points on 15-21 (71.4%) shooting in an 87-75 win at SMSU
- Secured a double-double in a 72-54 win at Sioux Falls on Friday
- Had 29 points on 12-21 (57.1%) shooting with 11 rebounds against USF
- Named NSIC Player of the Week for the second time this season (1/9/23)

#32 Aislinn Duffy (F, 6-0, Sr., Rapid City, S.D. / St. Thomas More HS) - Augustana
- Averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in a pair of home wins
- Shot 11-of-23 (.478) from the field and added four steals
- Recorded her 20th career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a 69-60 win over UMC
- Named NSIC Player of the Week for the third time this season (11/28/22 & 1/16/23)
Other Top Performances - North
#42 Alyssa Hill (BSU) led the Beavers by averaging 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds over the weekend. She led the team by shooting 54.5 percent from the field.
#14 Ryleigh Wacha (UMary) averaged 16.6 ppg and 5.5 rpg to lead the Marauders to a pair of weekend wins at home. She scored a career-high 23 points in an 80-56 win over Upper Iowa, making 8-of-10 shots with four rebounds, three assists and two steals. She followed with 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists in a 75-49 win over Winona State... shot 71% (12-of-17) from the field.
#1 Emma Miller (UMC) averaged 28.0 points as the Golden Eagles split on the road, including a clutch 74-72 win over Wayne State, their first on the road at Wayne since 2014. She had 34 points, her second-highest of her career, against Augustana. Miller shot 21-of-42 from the field for 50.0 percent. She was 8-of-21 from deep for 38.1 percent. Miller was 6-of-7 at the line for 85.7 percent. She also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
#30 Peyton Boom (MSUM) scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in MSUM’s 73-65 win over Concordia-St. Paul on Friday night, shooting 62.5 percent in the game. Recorded another double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds against Minnesota State on Saturday, blocking two shots in the game as well. She shot 83.3 percent from the field in the game, including 10 made field goals. She averaged 25 points and 11 rebounds on 71.4 percent shooting from the floor.
#14 Kennedy Harris (MINOT) led the way in a pair of home wins for the Beavers with game-highs both nights, including a career-high 20 points Friday against Winona State.
#34 Kailee Oliverson (NSU) led the Wolves to a weekend sweep, upsetting No. 12 Minnesota State (72-69) and defeating Concordia-St. Paul (71-52). She averaged a double-double with 19.5 points and 10.0 rebounds, while adding 1.5 blocks per game. She shot 15-29 (51.7%) from the field and 9-9 (100.0%) from the free throw line in the two contests. With 17 points and 12 rebounds against the Mavericks she recorded her second double-double of the season. She also notched her fourth game of the season with 20 or more points, scoring 22 against the Golden Bears.
#45 Katrina Theis (SCSU) put up 52 total points shooting 21-40 (.525) from the field, tallied 20 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Against SMSU, Theis put up 29 points going 12-20, which includes scoring her 1,000th career point which is the basket that put SCSU back in the lead against SMSU. Additionally, she had eight rebounds, three steals, and two assists in the Huskies OT win over SMSU. Against USF, Theis put her fourth double-double of the season with 23 points and 12 rebounds. She also had three assists and one steal in St. Cloud’s win over Sioux Falls.

#1 Joey Batt (MSU) totaled 32 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 9 steals over the weekend. Batt led the Mavericks in scoring against Northern State with 18 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 steals. Batt contributed 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals in a 77-70 win over MSU Moorhead.
#11 Lauren Zacharias (WSC) averaged team-high 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game vs. Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston. She had 20 points with four steals in 74-72 loss to Minnesota Crookston.
#1 Lauren Fech (WSU) was one of the top contributors to the Winona State women’s basketball team over the most recent NSIC weekend. She scored 18 total points over two games. She h averaged 9.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg in nearly 37 minutes played per game.

The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
