NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#9 Casey Bauman (QB, 6-7, 225, Gr., Sumas, Wash. / Nooksack Valley HS) - Augustana
- Tied a school record with six touchdown passes in the Vikings 49-29 win at Sioux Falls
- Accounted for all seven touchdowns as he also rushed for a score from 2-yards out
- Threw for 326 yards on 21-of-28 passing
- Had a long pass of 73 yards
- Rushed for 44 yards, an average of 5.5 yards per attempt, for 370 yards of total offense
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#41 Jacob Daulton (LB, 6-1, 215, Sr., Hudson, Wis. / Hudson HS) - Minnesota State
- Led the Maverick defense with 10 tackles, including six solo in a 27-24 win at No. 9 BSU
- Notched 1.0 TFL and added a quarterback sack for a loss of five yards
- Intercepted a BSU pass in the end zone for a touchback early in the third quarter
- The ensuing play after this interception went 80-yards for a touchdown to put MSU up 20-10
NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#11 DaShaun Ames (WR, 6-1, 200, R-So., Cumberland, Wis. / Cumberland HS) - Minnesota Duluth
- Returned the second half opening kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown in a 38-14 win over WSU
- Delivered the longest kick return in the NSIC over the weekend
- Also threw a 20-yd touchdown for the Bulldogs in the second quarter

OFFENSE
Richardson Jaylin (CSP)
- Rushed for 172 yards on 21 carries, averaging 8.2 per carry in a 37-34 win over UMary
- Topped 200 scrimmage yards with a pair of catches for 32 yards (204 total yards)
- Averaging over 100 scrimmage yards per game with 519 combined yards
- Ranks 27th in Division II and third in the NSIC with 422 rushing yards
Pitz Sam (UMD)
- Tied for the most points in the NSIC over the weekend with 18
- Recorded a league-best three receiving touchdowns
- All three receptions were TDs, the longest for 37-yards
Shen Butler-Lawson (MSU)
- Recorded a career-high 235 rushing yards against Bemidji State
- Averaged 9.4 yards a carry
- Scored two touchdowns, one from 80 and 5 yards out
- The 5-yard touchdown carry proved to be the game winner
Jack Strand (MSUM)
- Passed for a conference-best 448 yards in MSUM's 45-26 win over NSU
- Threw four touchdown passes to four different receivers in the win
- Completed 33 passes in the game for a 68.7 completion percentage
- Had an NSIC-best 462 total yards of offense in the contest
Ingram Dewaylon (NSU)
- Tallied his third 100-plus yard game of the season with 131 yards against MSUM
- Averaged 14.6 yards per reception with a 32-yard long
- Scored two touchdowns for the Wolves
- Leads the NSIC in total receiving yards and average yards per game
Boyd Latravious (WSC)
- Rushed for 196 yards on 14 carries and three TD's in 48-22 road win at Minot State
- Scored on TD runs of 7, 20 and 87 yards
- 87-yard TD run in fourth quarter was third-longest run in school history
DEFENSE
Haden Wallace (AUGIE)
- Secured an interception and returned it 28 yards to set up an Augustana touchdown
- Recorded a tackle for loss for four yards
- Totaled six tackles with four marked as solo
Ben Rehl (CSP)
- Registered career-highs with 12 tackles, 3.0 TFLs and 2.0 sacks in a 37-34 win over UMary
- Key force as CSP compiled 9.0 TFLs and 7.0 sacks in the 3-point home win
- Of his 12 tackles, nine were solo stops against the Marauders
- Ranks second on the team in tackles (26), TFLs (4.0) and third in sacks (3.0)
Drew Hennessey (UMD)
- Led the NSIC with 3.5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss
- The 3.5 sacks was a career-best effort, and now has seven on the season
- Finished with six tackles, including five solo
- Part of a defense that allowed a league-low 14 points against and held WSU to -28 rushing yards
Jared Kallenbach (MSUM)
- Made a game high 10 tackles (8 solos) in a 45-26 win over NSU
- Added a pass breakup in the win
Josiah Hedensten (SMSU)
- Recorded eight tackles (four solo) with two sacks and one pass break-up in a 16-15 loss at Valparaiso
- Helped anchor a defense that limited the Beacons to 179 yards of total offense
- Part of a defense that recorded six sacks, a safety and an interception return for a touchdown
Alex Schall (WSC)
- Had a game-high 11 tackles in 48-22 road win at Minot State
- Credited with eight solo tackles
- Added two tackles for loss for 12 yards
SPECIAL TEAMS
Matthew Jaeger (MSU)
- Connected on a pair of field goals from 30 and 27 yards out
- Went 3-for-3 in extra point attempts and scored a total of nine points
Jeremy Caruso (MINOT)
- Kicked his first two collegiate field goals, making both his attempts
- Hit from 31 and 34 yards out in the Beavers game against Wayne State

The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders.
