NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#18 Maggie Brahmer (MH, 6-0, Jr., Pierce, Neb. / Pierce HS) - Wayne State
- Averaged 4.44 kills and 1.44 blocks per set in three WSC wins
- Hit and NSIC best .633 during the week with 40 kills and just two errors on 60 total attacks
- Had 15 kills with seven blocks and .560 hitting percentage in 3-0 sweep at No. 10 UMD
- Recorded 11 kills and six blocks with .526 hitting percentage in a 3-0 sweep at No. 6 SCSU
- Hit .875 with 14 kills and no errors on 16 attacks in Tuesday’s 3-0 sweep vs. Peru State
- Was named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week last week (9/25/23)
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#14 Claudia Stahlke (MB, 5-11, Jr., Waconia, Minn. / Mayer Lutheran HS) - Concordia-St. Paul
- Tallied a NSIC best 2.17 blocks per set (13 total blocks) in CSP’s two wins over the weekend
- Matched a CSP record in the 25-point scoring format with 11 blocks (1 solo & 10 assists) at NSU
- Contributed 2.88 kills per set (14 total kills) on just 23 swings for a .522 hitting percentage
- Added 11 kills and a .625 hitting percentage at NSU for her first career double-double
NSIC Setter of the Week
#14 Rachel Walker (S, 5-9, Sr., Lincoln, Neb. / Southwest HS) - Wayne State
- Averaged 12.22 assists per set in three WSC wins last week
- Had weekend-best 39 assists with three blocks in a 3-0 sweep at No. 10 Minnesota Duluth
- Credited with 37 assists and two service aces in a 3-0 sweep at No. 6 St. Cloud State
- Led the Wildcat offense to a .369 team hitting percentage for the week, including .330 at UMD

Sophia Andersen (CSP)
- Led the team with 31 kills (3.88 per set) in CSP two wins on the weekend
- Hit .349 with just nine errors on 63 attempts
- Added 1.50 digs per set and 0.50 blocks per set
- Registered at least 13 kills in each of the two matches
- Ranks third in the NSIC with 3.70 kills per set
Kenzie Foley (SCSU)
- Recorded the second-most kills and points per set across the NSIC at 5.00 and 5.42 respectively
- Had 30 kills along with 32.5 points as she posted two aces and a block to go with a .370 kill percentage
DEFENSE
Erika Bute (AUGIE)
- Led the NSIC with 49 digs and 6.13 digs per set on a weekend
- Racked up 27 digs in the win over No. 10 UMD on Friday
- Tallied 22 digs in three sets against No. 6 St. Cloud State on Saturday
Jordan McCormick (WSC)
- Averaged 5.00 digs per set in three WSC wins
- Recorded 17 digs with two service aces Saturday in 3-0 sweep at #10 Minnesota Duluth
- Had 15 digs in Friday's 3-0 sweep at #6 St. Cloud State
- Credited with 13 digs Tuesday in 3-0 home sweep over Peru State
Abby Meister (NSU)
- Tallied 41 digs against Winona and Concordia-St. Paul
- Averaged 5.86 digs per set
- Added one service ace
- Continues to lead the NSIC in total digs and digs per set
SETTER
Teagan Starkey (CSP)
- Compiled 14.00 assists per set (112 total assists) in CSP's road wins on the weekend
- Added 1.75 digs per set, 0.50 blocks per set and 0.50 kills per set
- Guided the offense to a .309 hitting percentage over the two matches
- Put up 64 assists at MSUM on Friday, her second largest total of the season
- Leads the nation with 13.15 assists per set

The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders.
