NSIC Player of the Week
#5 Sidney Zavoral (C, 6-1, Sr., R/R, Cottage Grove, Minn. / East Ridge HS) – Minnesota Duluth

- Turned seven hits into seven RBIs and seven runs scored across four wins in the Kelly Laas Invitational
- Recorded three homes runs, one in each game, along with a double and a triple
- Slashed .778/.800/2.111 after going 7-for-9 in three games played
- Added nine putouts and an assist from her catcher position
- Has helped UMD to an 8-0 non-conference start to the season

NSIC Pitcher of the Week
#15 Trinity Junker (RHP, 5-8, Sr., R/R, Lindstrom, Minn. / Chisago Lakes HS) – St. Cloud State

- Threw the fifth perfect game in St. Cloud State history on opening day against UMary
- Struck out eight while retiring all 15 batter she faced in the 12-0 five inning win
- The perfect game was the first thrown by the Huskies since 2017

Other Top Performances - Players
Sariah Perez (UMary)
led the Marauders offense over the weekend at the Kelly Laas Invite with a slash line of .455/.455/.636 for an OPS of 1.091. She went 5-for-11 with two doubles and two RBIs. She had two hits, including a double, and an RBI in both games Sunday. For the season is slashing .429/.409/.619 with a 1.028 OPS.
#21 Mack Gallagher (MSUM) went three for three at the plate with three RBIs in her collegiate debut against Valley City State Friday. She finished the game with a pair of singles and a two-run home run.  She followed that up going three for four from the plate with three more RBIs against Doane on Saturday morning. This came thanks to two more singles and another two-run homer. She capped her weekend by going three for five with four RBIs in a Saturday afternoon win over Jamestown. She had a single and a three-run home run in the game. She finished the week-end with a .692 batting average, 10 RBIs and three home runs.
#66 Morrison Brooklyn (MINOT) had a strong weekend leading the way for the Beavers offense, hitting 4-for-11 with two RBIs, a home run, and 3 stolen bases in five games at the Lubbock Sports College Tournament. She also drew 3 walks and was a standout defensively with 6 assists and no errors.
#24 Kyra Knudtson (NSU) led Northern State hitting .538 with a 1.000 slugging percentage in their 4-0 weekend. She tallied seven hits, including three doubles and one homerun. She scored six runs, added two RBI, and notched four walks. She recorded a hit in all four games and went 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI versus Jamestown.
#13 Sydney Trees (SCSU) slashed .556/.667/.778 for a 1.445 OPS as the Huskies went 2-2 on opening weekend. Trees was 5-for-9 at the plate with two doubles and five RBI.

Other Top Performances - Pitcher
#23 Evans Evey  (MSUM) pitched three innings in relief in MSUM's 9-1 win over Morningside on Friday night, facing 10 batter and only surrendering one hit and striking out three. She also pitched two innings of relief against Doane the following morning, also giving up just one hit to go along with one strikeout. She pitched two more innings on Saturday afternoon against Jamestown, giving up four hits and striking out one batter. She finished the weekend having pitched seven innings giving up a total of six hits for an opponent batting average of .231. She fanned five batters with a 1.29 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP.
Calley Olson (MINOT) picked up her second collegiate win pitching 5 2/3 innings against Chadron State in the Beavers' 9-8 victory in 9 innings. Olson struck out 14 opposing batters in 14 innings in the circle as she appeared in 4-of-5 games at the Lubbock Sports College Tournament for Minot State, compiling a 3.21 ERA as she allowed just 5 earned runs and held foes to a .278 batting average.
#9 Meghan Anderson (NSU) went 2-0 in the Wolves opening weekend with a 1.91 ERA. She recorded 15 strikeouts in 11.0 innings of work. She tallied a 0.910 WHIP and .250 opponent batting average. She threw a complete game versus Doane with 11 strikeouts in 8.0 innings of work.
