BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The 2023 NSIC Women’s Basketball Tournament bracket is set as the 22-game regular season ended Saturday night. Minnesota Duluth was the NSIC Overall and North Division Champion as they finished with a 21-1 record. Minnesota State finished 19-3 to claim the NSIC South Division crown and the top seed in the South Division.

The NSIC Women’s Basketball Tournament will consist of 12 teams and will be seeded by division (N 1-6 & S 1-6) using overall conference record (22-games). The top two seeds in each division will receive first round byes.

The first round of the tournament is set for Wednesday, February 22 on the campuses of the higher seeds in each match-up*.  The quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship will take place on February 25-28 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. All rounds of the NSIC Women’s Basketball Tournament played at the Sanford Pentagon will be aired live on Midco Sports and all games will be streamed for free on the NSIC Network. 

Tiebreakers:  
North Division
Northern State earned the third seed over the Univesity of Mary after they split during the regular season, both were 7-7 in divisional play, both were swept by UMD, and NSU split with SCSU while UMary was swept by SCSU.  
South Division
*MSU Moorhead (11-11) will host Concordia-St. Paul (10-12) in the first round as they have a better NSIC record.
