NSIC Player of the Week
#3 Trevor Winterstein (OF, 5-10, 165, So., L/R, Omaha, Neb. / Elkhorn South HS) - Augustana

- Made four starts in Augustana's series sweep at Colorado Christian
- Held a batting average of .529 as he recorded nine hits, five runs, one double and two home runs in the series
- Added 10 RBI and went 1-for-1 on stolen base attempts
- Owned a .941 slugging percentage and a .600 on base percentage

NSIC Pitcher of the Week
#37 Ryan Jares (RHP, 6-2, 220, Sr., R/R, Windsor, Colo. / Windsor HS) - Augustana

- Pitched a 7.0 inning complete game shutout against Colorado Christian
- Recorded nine strikeouts and allowed just a single hit
- Held opposition to a .048 batting average in the win

Other Top Performances - Player
#22 Jack Munson (BSU) batted .294 over four games at No. 12 Illinois Springfield. Led the Beavers with five hits, three doubles and batted in two runs. Slugged .471 to lead the team and had an on-base percentage of .294. OPS of .765.
#2 Kalem Haney (UMary) hit .462/.500/.923 over four games in Colorado with a 1.423 OPS. He was 6-for-13 with four doubles, a triple, scored three runs and drove in seven. He had a hit in all four games. He had two doubles and four RBIs to lead UMary to a 12-5 win at Regis. He was 4-for-9 against #23 Metro State University of Denver. He wrapped up the weekend with a 2-for-2 performance with two doubles in the final game against the Roadrunners.
#13 Mike Hallquist (UMC) hit .600 in four games at Missouri-St. Louis. He scored five runs, hit three doubles, one triple, and had four RBIs. Hallquist was 3-of-3 on Friday against Missouri-St. Louis. In Sunday's win, Hallquist went 3-of-5, with a run scored, and two RBIs.
Ryan Wickman (MSU) is on a five-game hitting streak as he added two solo homeruns this weekend against Lindenwood. He added four runs and two RBIs. 
Gus Radel (NSU) recorded a hit and scored a run in all four games of the Wolves weekend split against Rockhurst. He went 7-for-13 at the plate this weekend with three doubles, one homerun, three RBI, and five runs scored. In the opening game of the series he was 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles, one RBI, and two runs scored. And in the third game of the series he was a perfect 3-for-3 at bat with a double, 2-run homerun, two RBI, and one run scored.
#2 Ethan Sawyer (UIU) hit .438 in UIU's opening four games with 7 hits including 2 double and a homer with 4 runs scored and 4 runs batted in.
Cooper Kapanke (WSU) had a strong start offensively to the 2023 season in the Winona State four-game series at Drury University over the weekend. He went 4-for-4 on Saturday in Game 2 vs. the Panthers. Overall he went 6-for-13 (.462) at the plate and collected the first Warrior home run of the year and added a double and a RBI.

#10 Logan Barrick (BSU)
pitched six innings and allowed three earned runs off nine hits and two walks while collecting three strikeouts in a 4-3 loss to No. 12 Illinois-Springfield.
#3 Alex Koep (UMC) pitched five innings in a win Saturday against Missouri-St. Louis. He allowed just one run, on five hits. Koep struck out nine, and walked just one. He moved to 1-0 with Saturday's win.
#4 Nathan Culley (MSU) put in 7.0 innings of work on Saturday and he allowed 1 ER on 3 hits. He added seven strikeouts in Saturday's outing as he notched his second win on the season. 
Brian Baker (NSU) picked up his first win of the year (1-1) in the Wolves 6-5 win over Rock-hurst on Saturday. He pitched a complete game in the seven inning contest, allowing eight hits with only two of them turning into extra base hits. He struck out five RU batters in the win.
#18 Jarrett Ramer (UIU) picked up a win for the Peacocks with 5 innings of work against McKendree. He struck out four batters while allowing four runs on five hits.
Cameron Kramer (WSU) led WSU in innings pitched to open up the 2023 Winona State campaign on the road at Drury University. He threw 4.1 innings, allowing just three hits with a strikeout.
