SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -  Top seeded Augustana won its 12th-consecutive NSIC Women's Tennis Tournament as the Vikings defeated second-seeded Minnesota State 4-0.at Huether Family Match Pointe in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Augustana earned the NSIC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament on May 1-2. They will be joined by the winners of the MIAA and GAC Tournaments along with three other at-large bids. The full bracket will be announced on Monday, April 24 at NCAA.com.

With the win, Augustana has now won 34 consecutive NSIC Tournament matches. Their last loss came back in the 2010 Championship match to St. Cloud State.  The Vikings also have not allowed a point to an opposing team in 21 straight tournament matches, dating back to the 2015 Championship (defeated Upper Iowa 5-1 in 2015 championship).
