NSIC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Khot Juac (Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D. / Washington HS) - Sioux Falls

- Finished second at the 5K Augustana Twilight, first among non-DI runners
- Ran a career best time of 17:32.06
- Recorded the highest finish for a USF running at the Augustana Twilight event
- Helped the Cougars to an eighth place team finish in the 29 team field


Other Top Performances
Aubrey Surage (AUGIE) placed fourth in the 5k run, second among non-DI runners, at the Augustana Twilight Surage finished the race in a personal-best 17:40.36, helping lead the Vikings to a third-place finish, first amongst non-DI foes.

Lauryn Renier (UMD) topped the scoring for the Bulldog women, finishing ninth overall and posting a time of 19:15.8 at the Oz Memorial.

MaKenna Thurston (MSU) led the Mavericks through the flat, five-kilometer course with a seventh-place time of 17:51.51, six seconds ahead of her pace at the Augie Twilight last fall. She was also third among Division II competitors.

About the NSIC
The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders.
