NSIC Player of the Week
#2 Madelyn Bragg (C/F, 6-3, So., Aberdeen, S.D. / Roncalli HS) - Northern State

- Averaged 26.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in wins against CSP and UMD
- Notched a career-high of 35 points in an 81-70 overtime win against UMD
- Made 21-of-42 (50.0%) from the floor and shot a perfect 10-of-10 from the foul line
- In addition, she recorded eight assists and seven blocks on the weekend
- Led the NSIC last week in points and free throw percentage
- Scored eight of the 11 points in overtime win against UMD
 
NSIC Shining 5*
Lindsey Becher  (CSP)
- Averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks in a weekend split 
- Had 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 65-57 overtime victory over MSUM
- Scored 13 points with four rebounds against Northern State
- Shot 45.5% on a team-high 33 shots combined over the weekend
- Tallied five blocks against Northern State and three blocks against MSU Moorhead
- Had a team-best +15 margin in the win against MSU Moorhead
- Posted her second double-double of the season and the seventh of her career

Lexie Schneider (UMary) 
- Averaged 17 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game in a weekend split
- Had 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two blocks in a 76-50 win over WSU
- Scored 22 points and hauled down 12 rebounds against Minnesota State
- Finished 5-of-10 from the floor and 12-of-14 at the line
- Finished the weekend a combined 11-of-18 from the floor and 12-of-14 at the line

Rianna Fillipi (NSU)
- Averaged 15.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game in wins against CSP and UMD
- Drained 12-of-27 (42.3 %) from the floor and 4-of-10 from 3-point range
- Recorded two double-double games on the weekend 
- Controlled the court with 13 assists along with eight steals
- Had a weekend high of 16 points and 10 rebounds in the overtime win against Minnesota Duluth

Ashley Sawicki (SCSU)
- Averaged 13.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in a weekend sweep
- Shot 68.8% from the field going 11-of-16
- Scored a game-high 12 points with 12 rebounds, and four assists in win over WSC
- Added two blocked shots and recorded two steals versus WSC
- Recorded her third double-double of the season
- Posted 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in a 76-58 win over Augustana 
- SCSU has won three-straight games by an average of 13.7 points

About the NSIC
The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders.
