BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The 2024 NSIC Women's Soccer Tournament pairings have been determined following the conclusion of the NSIC regular season schedule. The top eight teams from the
NSIC Soccer Standings advance to the single-elimination tournament. The top four seeds host first round matches on Monday, November 11 with the winning teams advancing to the semifinal and championship rounds on Friday, November 15 and Sunday, November 17 in a bracketed format. There will be no reseeding following the first round matches. The highest remaining seed following the quarterfinal matches will host both semifinal and championship matches.
Minnesota State won its seventh NSIC regular season title after earning 36 points by finishing 11-0-3 in NSIC play. The Mavericks will be the number one seed entering the tournament and will host a first round match against eighth seeded Wayne State on Monday at 1 p.m. Concordia-St. Paul earned the second seed and will host seventh seed Bemidji State at 11 a.m. Third seeded Augustana will matchup with sixth seeded Minot State at 2 p.m., while fourth seeded St. Cloud State will host fifth seeded University of Mary at 2 p.m.
The winner of the 2024 NSIC Women's Soccer Tournament earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Central Region Tournament. The complete NCAA championship bracket will be announced on Monday, November 18 via a webcast selection show on
www.NCAA.com at 5:30 p.m. (CT).
The first/second round matches of the regional tournament will take place on campus on November 22-24 while third/quarterfinal rounds will be contested at campus sites on December 1 & 7. The 2024 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Semifinal and Championship will take place on December 13 & 15 at Sportsplex at Matthews in Matthews, North Carolina; hosted by Wingate University.
Tiebreakers: UMary earned the fifth seed as they defeated Minot State head-to-head.
