TOPEKA, Kan. - For the second season in a row, a St. Cloud State Volleyball player has been named a Division-II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Volleyball Region Player of the Year as announced by the organization on Tuesday. Senior outside hitter Kenzie Foley repeats as the 2024 D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year. Foley was also named to the D2CCA All-Central Region First Team for the second season in a row along with Teagan Starkey (Concordia-St. Paul) and Taya Beller (Wayne State) who also repeated as first-team selections.
LEXINGTON, Ky, - The AVCA is excited to name its 2024 Division II Women’s Volleyball All-Region teams and award winners.There are 14 All-Region team members and six honorable mention selections for each of the eight Division II regions. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 160 student-athletes who earned All-Region honors represent 82 different schools. Foley was named AVCA Central Region Player of the Year while Chad Braegelmann was named Central Region Coach of the Year. Makenna Nold of Concordia-St. Paul was named Central Region Freshman of the Year.
