2024 NSIC Tennis All-Conference Teams Announced

NSIC Player of the Year
Florentia Hadjigeorgiou
(Sr., Deryneia, Cyprus / G C School of Careers Nicosia)
Augustana University

- Named NSIC Player of the Yeaer for the second season in a row
- Four-Time All-NSIC First Team Singles and four-time All-NSIC First Team Doubles 
- Secured a 12-4 overall singles record and a 13-5 record in doubles play
- Went undefeated in NSIC singles action with a 7-0 record in the No. 1 slot
- Extends Augustana's NSIC Player of the Year streak to 11 straight and 12th overall


NSIC Freshman of the Year

- Went 7-2 in NSIC Singles at No. 2 and 5-4 in NSIC Doubles at No. 1 with partner Talia Janos
- Went 10-6 overall in singles and 6-10 in overall doubles
- Ranked in the top-20 for NSIC singles win percentage (.625 - minimum 10 decisions)
- Ranked fourth in the NSIC in No. 2 singles win percentage (.667)
- Second Cougar to earn Freshman of the Year honors (Chloe Jefferies - 2018)

- Led Marauders to NSIC regular season runner-up finish for third time in program history (2014, 2019, 2024)
- Had her sixth straight winning season in NSIC play and fifth straight winning season overall
- Coached four All-NSIC singles players and an All-NSIC doubles team in 2024
- Second time earning NSIC Coach of the Year award (2019)
- Concludes her 12 seasons as Marauders head coach with a record of 102-88 (78-51 in NSIC)
- Has coached 43 All-NSIC performers, 47 NSIC all-academic team citations and four Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction awards

About the NSIC
The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders. Formed in 1992 by the merger of the Northern Intercollegiate Conference (men’s league) and the Northern Sun Conference (women’s league), the NSIC has flourished over the past quarter century, maturing into a 16-team union of Upper Midwest colleges and universities.
