Our team brings back our entire top five from the NCAA National Championship last year, which is very exciting. We have had an incredible past year of training where everyone has gotten much faster. We have a solid group moving forward to lead our team. We are experienced on the top end while bringing in over 10 freshman eager to learn and develop. This team could go very far this season if we stay healthy and fire from all cylinders.
Head Coach Chris Lessard
Alyssa has been our top runner for the past 4 years. She is dependable and I am excited to see what she can do in her final year. She has a great training group to push her to the next level which she desired for quite a while! Aly has fully bought into everything we are doing and has had the most consistency this past year than she's ever had. She is ready for a big jump!
Head Coach Chris Lessard

UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA CROOKSTON

Last year our women’s team set a school record for fastest 6k team average and placement at the NSIC Championship meet. The team looks to build on that success as we are returning our top eight runners from last year’s squad and added two talented freshmen. With great leadership from our three seniors (Anna Grabowski, Madison Elijah, and Katie Mack), I am excited to watch the team compete and reach new heights this season!
Head Coach Steven Krouse
Through hard work and dedication, Anna has set a new 6k PR each year since she came in as a freshman back in 2021. Anna never settles and holds herself to high standards. She leads the team by example and has been a building block for our program. Coming off a great spring and summer of training, I can’t wait to see what Anna is able to accomplish her senior year!
Head Coach Steven Krouse

Head Coach Brette Jensen
Franny has shown remarkable growth during her time as a Bulldog. Her exceptional range sets her apart in the conference, and I am excited to see how her consistent efforts this summer will translate to the course this fall. Franny is a great leader for us and I'm excited to watch her thrive in that role this season!
Head Coach Brette Jensen

I’m excited to see what our team can do this year. We lost a couple key runners to graduation but we are returning a solid group that made huge strides last season who are putting in the work this summer. We have a talented group of young student-athletes coming in that will have an immediate impact this season.

I am extremely excited to see what Madison can do this season. Madison has improved each season and is positioned to make a huge impact this season. I'm excited about how excited this team is to get this year started. We have a great core group in our top 5 that get on great with each other and I think their enthusiasm for the sport and each other are outstanding. I think this group also has a great opportunity to make some noise competitively as well.
Head Coach Steven Schultz
What impresses me so much about Paulette is how much more confident she has become over the past year. We have also seen her performances improve quite a bit over that time. Her day-to-day consistency and leadership will be huge for our team this year.
Head Coach Steven Schultz

NORTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY

Our women’s team is young this season, with Avery Murray being the lone senior on the squad. However, we have a strong contingent of sophomore returners, with Jolie Dugan and Adisen Stadem as other members of our scoring five from a year ago at the NSIC & Central Regional Championship. Additionally, we are bringing in a strong group of freshmen with good resumes, along with a transfer athlete in Abby Hasart of DWU. This young squad is eager to have a strong fall season!
Head Coach Lynne Dingman
Avery is our lone senior on the squad, and highest finishing returner from the NSIC & Central Region Championship. We will rely on her to help lead our young female squad. Avery is coming off of numerous personal best performances last season in Cross Country, Indoor & Outdoor from the 800m to the 6k. Avery showcases great service to Northern & her team, from checking in on other teammates, working for a good team culture, and volunteering to work summer running camps & other events!
Head Coach Lynne Dingman

SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY

We have assembled the largest women's cross country team in SMSU history with 8 returnees and 5 newcomers. It is a nice mix of athletes that I am expecting to see growth in as the season progresses.
Head Coach Kirk Nauman
Maddy comes off a great freshman season which included a SMSU record in cross country at 4,000 M. In track & field she broke the school multiple times in the 3,000 M steeplechase including when she was the only freshman to place in the event at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She also anchored two school records in the indoor and outdoor Distance Medley Relays for SMSU. She is really excited to continue to pursue her goals as a sophomore.
Head Coach Kirk Nauman

ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERSITY

I am excited for both the leadership and growing talent within this group. They are a predominately young group of individuals who are back and ready for more. The leaders of this team compliment the talents, vision, and efforts needed to make incremental change.
Head Coach Gabrielle Brown
This past season Cam was one of the athletes who realized just how much she was capable of. I am excited to see her step up fully and confidently into the amazing athlete that she is. She will be foundational for the growth needed to move us forward.
Head Coach Gabrielle Brown

WAYNE STATE COLLEGE

We have a very young team compared to last year when we had primarily our top 5 all senior runners. This means we have a lot of young runners that will have to step up to help lead the team towards being successful. That is both exciting and a bit scary for both them and me as their coach. We will do everything we can to maximize each person's abilities and help to contribute to the team success.
Head Coach Marlon Brink
Callie had a very good indoor and outdoor track season as a freshman and really gained a lot of confidence in her ability to compete in the NSIC. I am really excited to see what she can do this year in cross country and be one of the top runners on our team. She is very competitive and wants to reach her goals she has for herself, so it should be an exciting season.
Head Coach Marlon Brink

WINONA STATE UNIVERSITY

The 2024 team has three of the top five runners back from last year's championship team. Sophia Taarud, McKenna Taylor, and Kylie Anderson will provide the experience and leadership. Rhya Brandemeuhl and Mara Talabac are returning after missing the 2023 season. Sophomore Sam Harke and the incoming freshmen add depth to our team. We have made the National meet the past two years and this team wants to continue that streak.
Head Coach John Hibshman
Sophia was our number three runner from last year's championship team. She has improved greatly every year that she has run for us. Sophia is coming off a foot injury this past spring. She is very resilient and has been working very hard to be one of the best runners in our conference. It will be exciting to see her progress in the 2024 season.
