NSIC Wrestler of the Week
Dominic Murphy (197 lbs., Gr., Evergreen Park, Ill. / Brother Rice HS) – St. Cloud State
- Scored three team points in a 20-19 win against No. 4 Nebraska-Kearney
- Defeated No. 5 Jackson Kinsella with a 5-2 tiebreaker win
- Trailing 2-1 in the first tiebreaker period, before coming up with a takedown
- The takedown occurred with five seconds left in the period to take a 4-2 lead
- Scored an escape in the second tiebreaker period and then blocked all takedown attempts
- The win sealed the dual for the Huskies as they led 20-13 with one match remaining
- Is currently ranked No. 2 at 197 and remains unbeaten with a perfect 17-0 record

Jaxson Rohman (AUGIE)
- Went 2-0 over the weekend at two home duals
- Each win was earned by fall
- Had two takedowns and a four-point nearfall before pinning Isaac Stewart (UMary) in 3:42
- Claimed the first period pin in 1:42 over Dylan McDonald (MINOT)
- Helped Augustana in defeats of No. 11 UMary and Minot State
Reece Barnhardt (UMary)
- The No. 1 ranked wrestler at 133 pounds went 2-0 over the weekend
- He pinned No. 11 Beau Klingensmith (USF) after 2:09 of action
- Defeated Braiden Kort (AUGIE) by an impressive 14-1 major decision
- Barnhardt is now 9-0 in his dual matches
Grant Cook (MSU)
- Placed first at Harper Open in Palatine, Illinois
- Went 3-0, with wins by 20-3 tech fall, fall at 1:48, and 5-2 decision
- Holds a 10-7 overall record
Ryan Henningson (MSUM)
- Collected a pair of tech fall victories for the Dragons last week
- Scored a 21-4 tech fall over SMSU's Chase Hanson at 6:21 on Thursday evening
- Capped his week with a 17-1 tech fall at 3:58 over Concordia College's Kie Anderson
- Helped the Dragons to a pair of dual victories in the process
Ryan Hrcka (MINOT)
- Was 2-0 as Minot State split a pair of duals on the road
- Earned a 2-1 win by decision over Lincoln Fink from Sioux Falls
- Earned a 3-2 win by decision over Davin Rose of Augustana
Nathan Schauer (NSU)
- Upset No. 7 Lloyd Reynolds in the Wolves NSIC dual against No. 2 Parkside
- Tallied a 14-4 major decision victory over his ranked opponent
- Recorded four takedowns in the match
- The win was his second by major decision this season
- Improved to 15-6 on the year and 4-0 in the league
Matthew Chi (Parkside)
- Went 1-0 on the week
- Defeated Brenden Salfrank of Northern State by a 21-4 TF (6:21)

The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders. Formed in 1992 by the merger of the Northern Intercollegiate Conference (men’s league) and the Northern Sun Conference (women’s league), the NSIC has flourished over the past quarter century, maturing into a union of Upper Midwest colleges and universities.
