AUGUSTANA UNIVERSITY

We have a really high IQ basketball team this year. We have added some scoring punch to our roster. This group has gelled very quickly and we're excited for the challenge of the grueling NSIC schedule.
Head Coach Nate Vogel
Bella is a returner for us who has had a great off-season and has stepped into a leadership position for us. Bella has obviously worked on her game a lot over the summer as she is a more versatile player than when she left last spring. Bella has starting experience and has a full season of NSIC playing experience under her belt. We expect her to take another step forward for us in the '25-26 season.
Head Coach Nate Vogel

BEMIDJI STATE UNIVERSITY

I am optimistic about this group and the year ahead. We have more new faces than returners and many will be immediate impact players. Adding new talent has motivated our returners to get better individually in the off season. I am really impressed with how both have blended in one so well for a competitive atmosphere.
Head Coach Chelsea Stoltenberg
Tieryn is our leader in every capacity. She has a high IQ and will take on a huge role for us again this year. We will look to her to have a huge impact offensively, both scoring and facilitating.
Head Coach Chelsea Stoltenberg

CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY, ST. PAUL

What excites me about this team is bringing back a team with a few key players who helped our program have a very successful year. Lydia Haack coming into her senior year will definitely be a player that will make us very competitive this season with the skill set she possesses and how she makes everyone else around her better. Our team really clicked last year, and we have a lot of that same team chemistry and work ethic coming into this year that really excites me.
Head Coach Amanda Johnson
Lydia is returning from an incredible year, bringing a lot of experience as a first-team all-conference player. She has been a key part of our program, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She brings a dedicated work ethic and has a positive mindset that is contagious to each member of our team. We are looking forward to Lydia having another successful year and being one of the leaders on and off the court.

Head Coach Thad Sankey
Jess is ready to have a great sophomore season. She was our second-leading scorer last year as a freshman and helped win games with her scoring and rebounding effort. Jess has done great work over the summer and preseason and is growing into a leader on our team.
Head Coach Thad Sankey

UNIVERSITY OF MARY

Our team is fast and athletic. We need to find some consistency in the post position, as all players vying for time there have yet to play consistently. We return three starting guards who are very talented and we will lean heavily on their experience while we develop complementary pieces. It's always exciting at the beginning of the season but our expectations are to compete for a North division title.
Head Coach Rick Neumann
Bergan is coming off a sophomore year where she was First Team All-NSIC. We expect her to take a jump in her leadership both on and off the court as an upperclassman. Bergan has worked tremendously hard this offseason and will be asked to do even more for our team. We will ask her to be more efficient in the mid-range and at the arc. We are really excited to see Bergan compete this year with increased attention from opponents.

MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY MOORHEAD

Returning four starters from last year's team, the Dragons have veteran leadership which will prove vital with a tough pre-season schedule and a grueling conference schedule.
Head Coach Karla Nelson
Terryn is a three-time captain for the Dragons. She is a tremendous leader on the court, in the classroom, and is an outstanding ambassador for MSUM within the F-M community. Last year she averaged 11ppg and 8.6 rpg, while shooting 56% from the floor. She is closing in on 1000 points and 800 rebounds - doing most of this work while being garnering much attention on the defensive end. She logged 11 double-double last season including six straight in January. She had 10 or more rebounds in 14 games last season.
Head Coach Karla Nelson

MINOT STATE UNIVERSITY

I am excited for year number two at Minot. We have a number of returning players on our roster, so it has been great to build off the foundation we laid last year. Although we have a relatively young group of players, I am excited and optimistic to see what we can achieve. The ladies have been working extremely hard all Fall, and I look forward to having the opportunity to compete with them in a talented conference.
Head Coach Ryan Clark

NORTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY

What excites me about this year’s team is the combination of youth and competitiveness. They bring great energy every day, they’re eager to learn, and they approach everything with a hunger to get better. That mindset creates a strong foundation for growth this season.
Head Coach Paula Krueger
Izzy is coming off a solid junior year and her experience will be key for us. We’re looking for her to step into more of a scoring role, while leading our less experienced players with the energy and patience.
Head Coach Paula Krueger

University of Sioux Falls

Even though we only have one senior on our roster, we are still young on paper but I believe we have a number of kids that have played lots of minutes as freshman and sophomores, I like the leadership and experience our players have shown. I think you will see a team that will try to push the pace more than we have in the past because of depth I believe we have on this team. The NSIC is always strong and we have such respect for the league. Finishing in fifth last season, our goals are to take another step forward and finish towards the top of the league.
Head Coach Travis Traphagen
No one works harder at her craft than Kami. She is difficult for opposing teams to defend because of her versatility of playing inside/outside. She will be the focal point of many defenses this year and we have surrounded her with players who can shoot the basketball. Being a two year starter, she has really figured out our system and how she can help our team be successful.
Head Coach Travis Traphagen

Southwest Minnesota State University

What excites us most about this group is their day-to-day approach. They compete at a very high level, and they’re committed to doing things the right way. Our early-season tournaments and the strength of our conference will challenge us, no question. But this group is embracing that. They’re showing up every day with an eagerness to improve and a mindset to earn every opportunity in front of them.
Head Coach Tom Webb
Audrey is the kind of player every coach wants in their program. She’s built her career on effort, toughness, and consistency, no shortcuts. Leading the league in rebounding and recording 17 double-doubles last season is a result of her relentless ability to compete. We're excited for what this senior season holds for her.
Head Coach Tom Webb

St. Cloud State University

We have a highly motivated group that continues to challenge and push each other daily, consistently putting in the work. Our younger players gained valuable experience last season while navigating a year impacted by injuries. As we move forward, we are eager to get healthy and excited to see what this team can accomplish together.
Head Coach Lori Fish
Jada continues to elevate her game and challenge herself each day to be the best she can be. We have asked a lot of her over the past three seasons, and this year will be no different. She is a tremendous leader both on and off the court—someone her teammates know they can always count on.

Kylah is a natural leader. She leads by example on the court, and she provides a strong and positive voice in our locker room. Kylah is also a very versatile player and will be a major factor for us on the offensive end.

Winona State University

What excites me most about this season is the culture this group has created and the standard they hold each other to. They’ve established a culture marked by passion, selflessness, and gratitude—both for the game and for the people beside them. It's a privilege to coach a group that works this hard and cares this much about each other.
Head Coach Ana Wurtz
Hailey is the kind of player and teammate every program dreams of—committed, detail-oriented, and completely bought in on the defensive end. Her energy on the glass, creativity with the ball in her hands, and desire to always make the right play for the team make her a difference-maker on both ends of the floor. What sets Hailey apart is her humility and relentless drive to grow; every season she’s expanded her game. Her intense focus and desire to be great every day continues to elevate our program, and we look forward to watching her set the standard for our team this season.
