NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#0 Dawson Forgy (RB, 5-11, 200, R-Jr., Winterset, Iowa / Winterset HS) - Wayne State
- Rushed for 181 yards and single-game school record 5 touchdowns in 42-13 win at Sioux Falls
- Scored on TD runs of 35, 2, 1, 60 and 7 yards
- Added 14 receiving and 22 kick return yards
- Led the NSIC in rushing yards (181), scoring (30) and all purpose yards (217)
- Now has school record 19 rushing TD’s this season
- Leads NSIC in rushing with 1,239 yards
- Named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season (9/22/25) 

NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#2 Jamal Spiyee (DB, 6-1, 190, Sr., Fort Dodge, Iowa / Fargo Senior HS) - Minnesota State
- Made three huge plays in MSU’s 45-21 win at Augustana, helping clinch a share of south division title
- Blocked a 45-yard field goal with 12:04 to go in the third quarter with MSU leading 21-14
- Recovered a fumble and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown to put MSU up 35-14 
- Intercepted a pass on the ensuing Augustana drive
- Added one tackle

NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#14 Connor Fournier (K/P, 6-0, 200, So., Maple Grove, Minn. / Maple Grove HS) - Minnesota State
- Helped the Mavericks to a share of the NSIC South Division title with a 45-21 win at Augustana 
- Connected on a 35-yard field goal to put MSU up 38-14 in the fourth quarter
- Went 6-for-6 in extra point attempts as he tallied nine total points for the Mavericks
- Led all kickers in scoring in the NSIC this week with nine points
- Named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time this season (9/2/25 & 10/13/25)

Others Under Consideration
OFFENSE
Connor Carver (Bemidji State)
- Played a role in all four Beaver TDs against No. 13 UMD
- Marked two rushing touchdowns (26 yd and 11 yd)
- Tallied two passing touchdowns (15yd to Drayton Lehman and 15 yd to Cedric Wall)
- Totaled 326 total yards of offense with 210 passing and a team-leading 116 rushing
- Marked an average of 5.8 yards per rush
Joel Lacy (Concordia-St. Paul)
- Shattered career-highs with 17 carries, 143 yards and three touchdowns in road win at SMSU
- Previous career-highs were six carries, 27 yards and one touchdown
- Also had new career-highs two catches for nine yards out of the backfield for a 152-yard day
- Had 99 rushing yards on one drive, an 8-yard run on first down from CSP's one and a 91-yard TD run
- The 91-yard run is second-longest rushing play in CSP history, longest of NCAA DII-era
- Third-longest run in the NSIC in 2025, and longest run of week 10 in the NSIC
- Handled final two kickoffs for CSP on special teams, averaging 44.5 yards 
- Leads CSP with five total touchdowns on the season
Karsyn Jablonski (UMary)
- Caught seven passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns against Winona State
- The 186 yards is a career-high
- The two TD passes tied his career-best and covered 4 and 97 yards
- The 97 yard TD reception is the longest catch of the Marauders NCAA-era
Luke Dehnicke (Minnesota Duluth)
- Surpassed 1,000th single-season receiving yard during a 69-yard touchdown reception
- Totaled 140 receiving yards in five receptions
- Scored two receiving touchdowns
- Averaged 28 yards per catch
- Remains first in the NCAA for the second straight week in total receiving yards (1,058)
Mitchell Thompson (Minnesota State)
- Led the Maverick rushing attack with 133 yards and three touchdown carries
- Averaged 6.3 yards per carry
- Threw for 108 yards as he completed 8-of-13 passes
Gage Florence (MSU Moorhead)
- Made 10 receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown in MSUM's 44-20 win over Jamestown
- Averaged 9.3 yards per reception in the victory
- Secured his NCAA Division II record 387th career reception in the game
Carson Chrisman (Minot State)
- Powered the Beaver offense to a big 49-28 upset win at Northern State
- Rushed for a game-high 137 yards and a touchdown
- Caught a 39-yard touchdown pass from wide receiver Jonathan Noreiga on the flea-flicker

DEFENSE
Jonas Barros (Concordia-St. Paul)
- Led CSP's defense with a team-high six tackles and an interception in a road win at SMSU
- Registered interception in the CSP red zone, intercepting a 3rd-and-2 pass at the CSP 7
- Had a 53-yard return on the interception, ending a first-quarter SMSU scoring threat
- Helped CSP's defense hold SMSU to 220 yards of total offense and 4 of 16 on third downs
Tuakoi Mahe (UMary)
- Posted a career day in his final home game for UMary
- Set a career-high with 3.5 tackles for losses of 8 yards on Senior Day against Winona State
- Made 10 tackles (nine solo)
- Intercepted one pass, the first of his career
Jayce Walrath (Minnesota Duluth)
- Led the team with seven solo tackles
- Earned one tackle for a loss of 13 yards
- Forced one fumble and recovered one
Tate Gustafson (MSU Moorhead)
- Made 10 total tackles in MSUM's 44-20 victory over Jamestown
- Of his 10 tackles, five were registered as solo stops along with 1.5 tackles for loss
- Also broke up a pair of passes in the victory, one of which leading to a Dragon interception
Damarrius Hammonds (Minot State)
- Had a career day, leading the Beavers with seven tackles while forcing a fumble
- Added an interception and broke up two other pass plays
-The interception was the first for Damarrius in his Beaver career
Brayden Chaney (Wayne State)
- Had game-high 10 tackles to lead WSC in 42-13 win at Sioux Falls
- Credited with eight solo stops along with one break up and one tackle for loss
Ethan Doucette (Winona State)
- Recorded five solo tackles with one sack
- Added a crucial redzone interception to help the Warriors comeback from 19 points
- Was a huge part of the comeback effort that saw the Warriors pitch a shutout in the 4th quarter

SPECIAL TEAMS
Drew Henson (Minnesota Duluth)
- Scored six of six extra points
- Punted three times for a total of 110 yards (Avg. 36.7)
- One punt landed within the 20-yard line
- Sent two kickoffs for 52 yards
Mason Carver (Southwest Minnesota State)
- Had nine punts in SMSU's loss to Concordia-St. Paul
- Finished with a 41.0 yard average with four inside the CSP 20-yard line
- Had one punt for 67 yards and had a punt downed at the CSP 1-yard line

The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders.
