NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
#15 Jack Strand (QB, 6-5, 240, Sr., Bloomer, Wis. / Bloomer HS) - MSU Moorhead
- Led NSIC in total yardage with 358 all-purpose yards in a 31-23 victory over No. 14 MSU
- Went 26-of-40 through the air with 240 yards and three touchdowns
- Also rushed the ball 27 times for a total of 118 yards
- Set the NSIC all-time passing yards record, which now stands at 12,134 yards
- Named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season (9/8/25 & 11/3/25)
NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
#5 Alex Kowalczyk (LB, 5-11, 220, Gr., Sioux Falls, S.D. / O’Gorman HS) - Wayne State
- Recorded game-high 16 tackles in helping WSC defeat No. 13 Augustana 38-31
- Had 10 solo tackles to go with one tackle for loss and one pass breakup
- Led WSC defense holding Augustana 140 yards below season total offense average
NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
#19 Boston Hensley (K/P, 5-11, 190, Jr., Council Bluffs, Iowa / Lewis Central HS) - Wayne State
- Scored eight points in the Wildcats 38-31 win over No. 13 Augustana
- Connected on all five point after attempts
- Hit a 39 yard field goal at the start of the fourth quarter to put Cats up 24-17
- Had five touchbacks on seven kickoffs for a 64.7 average
- Helped WSC earn a share of the NSIC South Division Championship

OFFENSE
Isaiah Tisdle (Bemidji State)
- Led Beavers with two rushing touchdowns in win over UMary
- Set personal best with 84 rushing yards and doubled his number of TDs this season
- Attempted 17 rushes, five more than his previous high
- Marked 88 yards gained and 84 net
- Averaged 4.9 yards per carry
Nicholas Martinez (Jamestown)
- Came off the bench to account for four touchdowns in a 46-40 loss to Northern State
- Went 10-of-19 passing for 163 yards and two touchdowns
- Also carried 12 times for 76 yards and two scores
Luke Bodine (UMary)
- Set single game career-highs for catches and receiving yards at Bemidji State
- Caught 12 passes for 147 yards, including a 33 yard touchdown reception
- The NCAA D2 leader in receptions by a tight end, Bodine set UMary single season records for tight ends for catches (70) yards (796) and touchdowns (10)
- Finishes career 7th all-time at UMary in receptions (153) and 12th in receiving yards (1,574)
Kyle Walljasper (Minnesota Duluth)
- Ran for a season high 157 rushing yards (6.8 avg.) against Minot State
- Scored three of the four UMD rushing touchdowns to account for 18 points
- Threw for 122 yards and one touchdown
Wyatt Block (Northern State)
- Record his sixth 100-yard game of the season in the Wolves win over Jamestown
- Rushed for 190 yards and three touchdowns with a 70-yard long
- Added 26 yards receiving for 216 yards of total offense
- Averaged 10.0 yards per carry in the win
- Tied the game and gave NSU the lead on his first two scores of the afternoon
Dawson Forgy (Wayne State)
- Rushed for 161 yards on 27 carries helping WSC beat #13 Augustana 38-31
- Finished with new WSC single season rushing record of 1,400 yards
- Also set single season school record for rush TD's (19) and total TD's (21)
- Led NSIC in rushing yards and all-purpose yards per game (163.4)
Jahmani Muhammad (Winona State)
- Ended his freshman season with 142 rushing yards on 23 attempts and a rushing TD
- Sparked the Warriors offense to score 30 unanswered points in a 30-6 win over SMSU
- Earned the Warriors Game MVP with his performance to win the 'Battle for the Sledge"
DEFENSE
Gabe Ward (Bemidji State)
- Led the team with five solo tackles in win over UMary
- Second on the team with six total tackles
- Added a sack/TFL for seven yards
- Forced one fumble that set BSU up to start drive at the UMary 19, ending with a touchdown after a two-play drive to help the Beavers shutout the Marauders in the first half
- Marked one QB hurry
Joey Krouse (Minnesota Duluth)
- Made six tackles (two assisted and four solo) to stop the Minot offense
- Recorded one interception and returned it five yards
Gavin Jarchow (MSU Moorhead)
- Made a game-high 14 tackles in a 31-23 victory over No. 14 Minnesota State
- Was credited with 0.5 tackles for loss in the win
Josiah Hedensten (Southwest Minnesota State)
- Closed his career racking up a career-high 20 tackles with seven solo stops in SMSU's loss at WSU
- Added one pass break-up
- Recorded double digit tackles in each of the last six games of the season
- Started every game of his career (44 games)
- Finished with 369 career tackles ranking second in team history
- His 207 career solo tackles ranks second all-time, while his 30 tackles for loss ranks 10th
Conner Haggerty (Winona State)
- Recorded four tackles, two QB hurries, one fumble recovery, and 0.5 sacks
- Spearheaded the Warriors defense that shut out the Mustangs offense for the final 46:16 of the Warriors 30-6 win in the annual ‘Battle for the Sledge’ game
SPECIAL TEAMS
Jake Pecina (Augustana)
- Scored seven points as he connected on four PATs and one field goal
- The field goal was from 57 yards out
Ben Burgess (Winona State)
- Booted five punts for 245 yards good for an average of 49 yards
- Set a career-high with a 69-yard punt

The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders. Formed in 1992 by the merger of the Northern Intercollegiate Conference (men’s league) and the Northern Sun Conference (women’s league), the NSIC has flourished over the past quarter century, maturing into a union of Upper Midwest colleges and universities.
