NSIC Wrestler of the Week
Coy Gunderson (174 lbs., R-Jr., Murdock, Minn. / Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg HS) - Augustana
- Went 2-0 in a pair of conference duals
- Opened with a 4-2 decision over Damen Pape of Northern State
- Had a second-period escape and third-period takedown
- Earned a 4-1 decision over No. 3-ranked Drake Hayward of No. 12 Minnesota State
- Set the tone, earning a takedown in the final 10 seconds of the third period
 
Other Top Performances
Sam Bruss (UMary)    
- Defeated No. 14 Mason Fey of Northern State at 184 pounds by a 4-2 decision
- Helped the Marauders to a 27-10 win over the Wolves
- Scored a last second escape to secure the victory
- Dominated Payton Wayman of Minot State by a 15-1 tech fall
- Helped UMary to a 45-7 victory over the Beavers
- Improved to 3-0 in duals this season
Chase Beckett (Minnesota State)    
- Went 2-0 in the 133 pound matches this past weekend vs. Sioux Falls and Augustana
- Defeated USF's Cyler Ruhoff via an 11-4 decision 
- Bested Augustana's Brandon Board via an 11-3 major decision
Pedro Velazquez (MSU Moorhead)    
- Secured a 141-pound weight class championship at the Dragon Open
- Defeated Corbin Roe via 15-1 major decision in the quarterfinals
- Earned a major decision in the semifinals, topping Concordia's Brady Kasprick 20-10
- Won the championship match over Chris Kirchner, 9-5
Cole Glazier (St. Cloud State)    
- Went 2-0 with a pair of falls in St. Cloud State's 2-0 weekend
- Came away with a fall in 55 seconds against Hayden Ramaeker of UJ
- Helped the Huskies to a 53-0 win against Jamestown
- Earned a pin in SCSU's 45-0 win over Minot State
- Led 16-3 before working his way to a pin against Brogan Flannigan at 5:31
- Remains unbeaten with a 5-0 record and is ranked No. 3 at 184 pounds
