NSIC Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Payton Brown (DMR, Fr., Stockholm, S.D. / Milbank Area HS) - Augustana

- Won the men's distance medley relay at the
Drake Relays
- Clocked a 9:49.64 to take first place
- Broke the Augustana school record for the event

Jalen McGee (Sprints/Jumps, Jr., Grandview, Mo. / Grandview HS) - Minnesota State
- Was the top NCAA Division II finisher in the long jump at the
Gary Wilson Invite
- Placed second overall with a NCAA provisional leap of 24-5.5 (7.45m)
- Ranks tied for 16th in NCAA Division II this season
- Also ran a provisional time of 13.97 in the 110m hurdles

Matt Krummel (CSP)
- Broke the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Gary Wilson Invite
- Clocked a time of 9:21.72
- Finished in third place overall and first among Division II participants
- Ranks third in the NSIC in the steeplechase this season
Raheem Taitt-Best (UMary)
- Ran a 20.58 in the 200m dash at the UMary Senior Open, breaking his own school record
- Moved up to 8th in the nation in the event
- Member of the 4x100m relay team that ran a 39.72, breaking the school record
- Relay team is now 2nd in the nation
Colin O'Farrell (MSUM)
- Won the 800m run at the Gary Wilson Invitational on Wednesday with a time of 1:51.94
- The time is the second-fastest 800m in the Northern Sun this season
- Also placed second in the 1500m run at the Bison Open on Friday, marking a 4:03.54
Nasir Dilworth (MINOT)
- Finished 4th overall in the 110-meter hurdles at the Bison Open with an NCAA qualifying time of 14.33
- The time ranks 42nd in the nation and is a new Minot State school record
Other Top Field Performances
Jasiah Hambira (MSUM)
- Was the top collegiate finisher in the high jump at the Bison Open on Friday, clearing an NCAA provisional height of 6-10.75 (2.09m)
- Finished runner-up in the event with the mark being tied for tops in the Northern Sun alongside teammate Jaiden Peraza
- Ranks 18th in NCAA Division II this season
Jayden Munroe (NSU)
- Won two events at the Drake Relays
- Opened his weekend with a win in the triple jump, recording a provisional mark of 15.01m
- Was the lone triple jump competitor to clear the 15-meter threshold and ranks 22nd in NCAA Division II this season
- Tallied an event victory in the long jump on Saturday with a 7.39m provisional mark
- The 7.39m ranks 22nd in the nation, while his jump of 7.47m from earlier this season has him ranked t-18th
Jaxson Ninete (WSC)
- Had NCAA provisional mark in hammer throw at Mount Marty Twilight Meet
- Placed second in event at 192-1 and now ranks third in NSIC

The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders. Formed in 1992 by the merger of the Northern Intercollegiate Conference (men’s league) and the Northern Sun Conference (women’s league), the NSIC has flourished over the past quarter century, maturing into a union of Upper Midwest colleges and universities.
