NSIC Player of the Week
#20 Andrea Cain (IF/OF, 5-5, Jr., R/R, Sioux Falls, S.D. / Brandon Valley HS) - Augustana
- Went 12-for-19 from the plate for a .632 weekend batting average
- Registered a .895 slugging percentage and .696 OBP
- Scored 11 runs for the Vikings while adding in four walks, 3 RBI, two doubles and one homerun
- Collected two stolen bases, both in game two against UMary
- Dominated from the plate against the Marauders, going 3-for-3 and 3-for-4, respectively
- Added in another 3-for-4 performance against Minot State
- Is in the midst of a seven-game streak with a hit
- Leads the conference in runs scored (45)
- Helped Augustana to a 6-0 weekend
NSIC Pitcher of the Week
#32 Lexi Lander (RHP, 5-9, Gr., R/R, Onawa, Iowa / West Monona HS) - Augustana
- Went 2-0 in three appearances for Augustana
- Accrued an ERA of 1.47 across 14.1 innings pitched with one complete game
- Allowed just five runs while collecting 21 strikeouts
- Held opponents to a .145 batting average
- Tallied a stifling career-high 14 strikeouts against Minot State
- Forced a .111 batting average for the Beavers
- Helped Vikings to a 6-0 weekend
- Named NSIC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season (3/24/25)

Avery Steffen (MSUM)
- Slashed for a .526 average (10-19) across six games for the Dragons last week, collecting two RBIs and nine runs scored
- Went 4-for-6 with three triples and five runs scored in a doubleheader against UMary on Thursday
- Collected five hits in six at-bats in a doubleheader sweep of Wayne State on Sunday, driving in a pair of runs on a home run
- Also pitched six innings, allowing just three hits with six strikeouts and earned a save against the Wildcats
Lara Gianna (MSU)
- Hit .350 last week with seven hits, led the Mavericks in slugging percentage with a .600 SLG%
- Totaled 12 bases and tied for the team lead in doubles with two and home runs with one
- Drove in five RBI, good for second on the team
- Went 3-6 at the plate in two games against Concordia-St. Paul with two RBI and a double
- Had two hits in a double header against UMC to extend her hitting streak to 12 games
- Drove in one RBI in game one against the Golden Eagles
- Went 2-4 at the plate in game two against Bemidji State with a double and a two-run home run
- Did not commit an error in the field and is yet to do so in NSIC play
Reese Holzhueter (SCSU)
- Hit .600 (12-for-20), during the Huskies 5-1 week that included two run-rule wins
- Owned a .636 on-base percentage and a .800 slugging percentage for an OPS of 1.436
- Tallied a hit in all six games and recorded two triples and two walks while only striking out once
- Drove in a team high seven runs, scored a team high eight times and was a perfect 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts
- Recorded three multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4 performance in SCSU’s 10-3 win over Concordia-St. Paul
- Added two triples to become the first Husky to have a 4+ hit performance this season or a 2+ triple game
- In SCSU’s 9-1 run-rule win over Bemidji State, she went 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs
- Scored 2+ runs in three games including three in SCSU’s 11-0 run-rule win over CSP
Taylor Coleman (WSC)
- Went 7 for 13 at the plate and picked up one win on the mound in relief at NSU, MSUM over the weekend
- Was 5 for 7 with four doubles, four RBI and four runs scored in Saturday sweep at Northern State
- Also picked up a pitching win with two innings of relief Saturday in 10-2 win at NSU
- Hit safely in both games Sunday at MSU Moorhead
Sam Keller (WSU)
- Was 7 for 11 at the plate with a .636 batting average in four games
- Recorded six RBIs and six runs against Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston
- Collected three doubles and one homer while drawing four walks on the weekend
- Tallied a 1.182 slugging percentage in four games
- Keller leads the NSIC with a .445 season batting average and a .544 on-base percentage

Delaney Penner (UMC)
- Earned win number five in win over Winona State
- Went 6.2 innings against one of the best offenses in NSIC
- Struck out career-high seven in 2-1 win over Warriors
Allyssa Williams (UMD)
- Captured two more victories this past week to improve to 13-6
- Whipped a complete game 2-0 shutout over Concordia-St. Paul
- Gave up just six hits and no walks while firing nine strikeouts – two short of matching her career best
- Registered her fifth straight win in the 5-4 victory over Southwest Minnesota State
Sailor Hall (MSU)
- Went 3-0 in week three with 16 strikeouts in 17.1 innings of work. She allowed 12 hits and three runs and posted an ERA of 1.21
- Pitched 3.1 innings in a win against Concordia-St. Paul. Allowed four hits, one run while she struck out six batters in a 5-3 win
- Added two complete game victories to her season total in games against UMC and BSU, allowing just one run each game on a combined eight hits
- Struck out seven in the 5-1 win against the Golden Eagles, one shy of her season-high
- Against the Beavers, she wrung up three batters in a 2-1 win
- Leads the Mavericks in innings pitched (96.0 IP), strikeouts (76 K), opponent batting average (.205) and WHIP (.99)
- Holds a 1.75 ERA on the season and a 10-4 record with seven complete games and one save
Teagan Clemmons (MSUM)
- Earned a 2-1 record across three appearances for the Dragons this past week, pitching a total of 17 innings
- Tossed her first career complete game shutout against Wayne State on Sunday
- Surrendered six hits with a career-high 10 strikeouts against the Wildcats
- Earned a win against UMary on Thursday, pitching three innings with five strikeouts
- Fanned eight batters against USF on Saturday
- Completed the weekend with a 1.65 ERA, 23 strikeouts and limited hitters to a .222 batting average
Maddi Duncan (USF)
- Helped lead the Cougars to a 4-2 week while going 2-1 in the circle
- Recorded 20 strikeouts across 20 innings pitched while giving up just two walks and five runs
- Threw three complete games with one shutout
Emma Eickhoff (SCSU)
- Posted a 3-0 record with a 0.93 ERA during the Huskies 5-1 week that included two run-rule wins
- Pitched 15.0 innings in three appearances (all starts), logging two complete games with one shutout
- Held opposing batters to a .208 batting average while only allowing three extra base hits and two runs
- Struck out seven batters while only walking two
- Pitched a 5.0 inning complete game of one-hit ball in in SCSU’s 11-0 run-rule shutout win of CSP
- Lowered her season ERA to 2.15 and posted her team leading fourth shutout
- Remained undefeated on the season (13-0)
Izzy Howe (WSU)
- Threw a no-hitter against Bemidji State, striking out five batters
- Allowed just three hits in her three appearances in the circle
- Howe collected 17 strikeouts over the weekend
- Held a 1.85 ERA on the weekend

The NSIC is a 15-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
