Katrina is a great role model for everyone in our program. She's the first to arrive & last to leave, always desiring to get extra reps when possible. She's never satisfied & is always trying to perfect her game. She's no different in the classroom carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA. However what I really appreciate about Katrina is her character; the way she treats everyone with kindness & respect, the way she looks out for others & the honesty with which she lives.

Kiera is a relentlessly hard worker, an elite one-on-one defender, is as fit as anyone in our program and is a fantastic leader and wonderful teammate. Kiera will help anchor and lead our backline this fall and I could not be more excited about what the 2025 season holds for her.

What I am most excited about this group is their energy, positive disposition and overall desire to be successful! I think we will be fit and eager to prove that we are motivated to be successful! I believe that this will be a really great year for Augie Soccer!

Madelyn is an energetic, fun and full of life type of person and we all just love her enthusiasm for both the game and for life!! I am really excited to see what Madelyn does this year as her speed will draw the attention of all of our opponents, but her unselfishness and willingness to distribute the ball will be huge for our overall team attack! Madelyn thrives in competitive situations and I am very much looking forward to what she will accomplish this fall!!!

Avery is a returning leader and her grit, determination and desire to be great will be showcased this fall! Avery tackles hard, strikes unbelievably accurate balls and is terrific dealing with flighted balls. She plays with such a great passion as well as her strong vocal presence, Avery will be a massively important part of this group this season!

I like the collective experiences that this group has had the past few seasons. I think those experiences lend themselves to both confidence & motivation. I think the overall competitiveness & unity that this group has and is capable of is exciting. I believe the freshmen only add to that capability. Overall, I think the 2025 Team has a high ceiling and it will be fun to see if we can reach it together.

Emma is the complete package, great person, great player, great leader. We are very blessed to have Emma back for a 5th year, her experiences & wisdom are invaluable. Emma has the ability to connect with just about all of her teammates and she seems to know when to challenge/push & when to encourage & console. On the field she has that rare combination of grit, skill, & IQ which allows her to play multiple positions & makes everyone around her better.

On the back of a strong 2024 and a solid Spring season, we feel we have a good balance in the group of returners and incoming players, plus the transfer players that will bring some quality experience to the squad. Of course, we know the NSIC will bring big challenges in every game, and we feel that we have enough depth to deal with those challenges - we are excited to get rolling!

Sophia is a coach's dream to work with. From recruitment to today, she soaks up the information given and has an unbelievable work rate to improve even more. She's a Captain and leads the group by example. Her love of the game is evident, and she is our offensive player of the year nomination.

When you think of tough, hard-to-beat defenders, Clare is always in that list. Her mindset to win at everything is infectious to group and is extremely driven to finish strong this year. She's a leader, team Captain and she brings a chemistry to the group that is hard to find. She is our defensive preseason player of the year nomination.

Excited for this young team to compete in the NSIC and for the University of Jamestown soccer program. Look forward to competing.

Breanna is a great kid and is always the hardest worker on the field. She has a team first attitude and is always looking to get better.

Nellie made an immediate impact as a freshman and we are looking forward to her making that same dynamic this season. She is also a great team player and a leader on the field.

The team is energized to step into a new season and display what they have worked so hard on during the off-season and summer. We are a well-rounded group with plenty of returning experience and lots of exciting new incoming players.

Rio is a hardworking scholar-athlete who exemplifies the characteristics of grit and determination in all that she does. Extraordinary in the classroom and on the pitch, Rio is our highest-point returning player from the 2024 season and a 2025 team captain.

Allison is such an excellent student of the game and an extraordinary athlete who always brings a love and passion for the sport every time she steps out on the pitch. She brings a wealth of talent and experience to our team and will be a leader in our backline for the coming year!

This is going to be a big learning year for us. It’s always exciting for the first season and to see where we are. I’m looking forward to the players showing what they have and working hard to turn this program around. It’s going to be a process but it’s been great to see the response from the team as we move in a new direction.

Elise is a player with the ability to drive toward the goal. She has put in a lot of work to be ready for this season and I’m excited to see how her pace will help us create chances. Elise got some exposure last year but I think she has grown a lot since then and have a bigger impact.

Tessa is a big piece of our team, having played almost every minute last season. She will be a constant on the field for us and help lead us. This team has had better defensive performances over the last couple of years and Tessa will help us elevate that this season so we can build the foundation of how we attack.

The Bulldogs are hoping for a more competitive run at a playoff spot than last season. We are planning on last years' youth being this year's difference - makers. There is a strong leadership team among our projected starters, including captains; Eischens, Morgan Eckerle (5th), Mim Marsan (SR), and Mal Russ (SR). We expect the NSIC race to be tight, as usual, and plan to be a factor in the end.

Jess represents everything we want from our attackers. Creating scoring and taking chances, and scoring. She has a very high compete level. All these elements make her a challenge for opposing defenses. She will also serve as Team Captain.

KC is our leader in the back. Opposing coaches have noted her high level athleticism and distribution qualities. She has the ability to save a game and with a young D corps, she may be called to do it.

Coming off a trip to the national championship game, conference regular season and tournament championships and a regional championship, we are battle tested and we learned a lot about what it takes to achieve success at the highest level and in the biggest moments. We certainly lost some key pieces off of last year's team but we have players that have been well prepared and that are ready to step in and fill those shoes. We return almost all of our scoring production from last year's team, have an amazing group of women back throughout the roster and have an incredible leadership core that I believe in immensely and that I feel can help lead us to another really special season for Maverick Soccer.

Addie has developed into a dynamic and extremely dangerous front line player that can stretch and break down opponent with her pace, explosiveness and one-on-one creativity. She has also developed into an elite level finisher. Addie is a tremendously hard worker and cares immensely about our program. We're excited to have her help lead our team during the 2025 season.

There’s been a lot of player and staff changes this year as the team moves from a 'here for something to do' to a 'here to do something' mentality. After a year of learning, our returning group, bolstered by some exciting freshman, is prepared to attack the challenging schedule inside the Northern Sun Conference. With eight seniors, all will be able to make an impact in the game. It’s a great year to be a Dragon!

Lilly (Johnson) is an exciting player to watch. Her change of pace, individual ball skill and work ethic for the team are first rate. She is a committed teammate and works hard every day in training to be the best she can be. As a senior she’s guaranteed to leave it all on the field this year.

Lilly (Allen) joined the team this spring as a junior transfer. Her character and spirit highlight the best aspects of being a Dragon. She was voted captain within weeks of arriving on campus displaying leadership right from the start. Lilly plays with a confidence and composure that will make an impact and she sets standards for others to rise too.

There are a lot of new faces on the roster for this fall and there will be a freshness to the team after losing so many seniors last year. We have a very strong core group returning and the new players will compliment what we bring back very well.

Anna is very technical, has a strong shot and great passing range. She possesses an extremely high achieving mindset and winning mentality.

Sierra is strong, fast, and very aggressive defensively. She is also ferocious competitor who gives her best effort in everything.

The 2025 Wolves will be an exciting group as we see many players return from 2024, and welcome in a strong freshman class. This should be a team that will grow in the quality of their performances, however with a good amount of returners we will have solid ground day one. We will look different with new faces in goal and our front line, but the returning group maintained our core identity throughout the spring season. I have no doubt they will set high goals and work hard to achieve them.

Chloe has steadily improved in her first two seasons here at Northern State. She has tremendous physical tools that allow her to be dynamic, and is an ever-present threat in the attack. She increased her goal scoring contributions freshman to sophomore year, which is a reflection of her willingness to learn and grow. Chloe had a great spring season, where again she continued to push her goal scoring contributions forward. We are excited to have Chloe leading our front line, and our team as she will enter her first year as a team captain.

Lauren had a very good sophomore season in 2024, where she had to fill in a big role at center back. She is a leader on the backline, she is a set piece taker, and also finds herself contributing on the offensive side of the game as well. This past year saw Lauren also improve her 1-v-1 defending, and is great at challenging aerial service into our box. Lauren continues to push herself in all facets of her training, and will assist leading the team as a captain this coming fall.

This is a season of change for the Cougar soccer program. There was a lot for the team to adapt to this spring, with a new outlook, mentality, and approach to playing the game. However, they leaned into everything we are trying to do, so excitement is high for this season. I'm eager to see how the work we have put in during the spring and pre-season translates into first our match performances and then our results in our bid to make the NSIC tournament for the first time in program history.

Mariah combines technical ability and power in the front third to create goal-scoring opportunities for herself and others. She will benefit from a more proactive style of play this year to provide more opportunities for her to utilize her strengths in front of the goal. Her drive and competitiveness will play a big part in helping the team achieve its goals this season.

Alivia has been an ever-present leader in the Cougar backline, having started 53 games in her three years. She is a leader on and off the field and has a protagonist in leading and buying into the changes we have instituted within the program this spring and fall. We will rely on her experience and expertise to help lead us to our goals this season.

I am very thankful for this opportunity to coach. I appreciate our entire coaching and supporting staff! I am looking forward getting to know each one of our student-athletes better. I am extremely motivated by the team desire to learn and grow together and to be successful on and off the field. This group wants to compete and wants to win in every facet of life.

Brooke plays with a lot of passion. I truly admire her mental fortitude to perform under pressure. Brooke loves to compete at the highest level and for that she has earned the utmost respect from our coaching staff. Her consistency and work ethic is greatly appreciated.

Laney definitely had her fair share of setbacks. More importantly, she has shown incredible resilience on and off the field. She stands out due to her exceptional desire to play at a high level every opportunity on the field. Laney is a source of inspiration on our team.

Our staff is to get to work with and be together with the 2025 team. This group of young women are committed to the Huskies standards and core values. Every team member has had a unique summer preparing and are ready to be together to pursue our mission. We believe wholeheartedly in the possibilities ahead this season and can’t wait to get started.

The moment Prim joined our program she elevated our competitive drive and collective will to win. One of her strengths is discipline. She is committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, while balancing a nursing degree and striving to be her best on the field. We’re grateful Prim chose to be a Husky, we’re proud to be part of her journey and we’re confident in her helping the team create great and memorable moments this season.

Ana returns this season as a cornerstone of our defensive line and in a more formal team leadership role. She is famous for her team first mentality and will often remark how she loves to play Huskies soccer because, in her mind, there is nothing better than playing the game you love with your best friends. We’re excited for her to show up and inspire her teammates to be their best this season.

Our team this year is a great mixture of youth and experience that wants to excel on and off the field. There will be depth in every position, and I believe this will create a positive and competitive environment. This group is focused and ready to put in the work each day needed to be successful. We are looking to build from last year and I can’t wait to see our team compete this fall.

Alaina is a dynamic attacking player who is coming off a strong fall and spring season. Her ability to score and create chances has been a huge asset to our team. We are looking forward to continuing to see her grow as she starts her senior season.

Addison is coming off an excellent 2024 season where she was a key contributor to our defensive unit. Her consistency and willingness to compete each day have been great attributes to our team. We look forward to continuing to see her grow and lead our backline this fall for her sophomore campaign.

This fall is going to be exciting. We have a strong group of returners who’ve laid the foundation over the past year, and we’ve added some new players who bring fresh energy and quality to the squad. What excites me most is how this group is coming together — there’s a shared drive to compete, grow, and represent Winona State with pride. We’ve built a culture centered on accountability and connection, and now we’re ready to take the next step. The energy around this team is real, and I can’t wait to see it translate on the field.

A dynamic presence in the final third, Faith enters the 2025 season as a key offensive catalyst for Winona State. With a relentless work rate, sharp movement off the ball, and an eye for goal, Quinn is poised to make a major impact in the NSIC. Whether creating chances for teammates or finishing them herself, Faith brings creativity, composure, and competitiveness that will drive the Warriors’ attack this fall.

Annika is the kind of player every coach wants anchoring their backline. She’s steady, composed, and brings a presence that naturally organizes and calms the group around her. Annika leads with her voice and her actions — she's the first to step into a challenge and the first to lift a teammate up. She sees the game a play ahead, reads pressure well, and is consistently in the right spot to snuff out dangerous moments before they develop. Off the field, she brings humility, work ethic, and a commitment to doing things the right way — a true reflection of our program's values.
