NSIC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week
Ashley Overgaauw (Jr., Lake Wilson, Minn. / Murray County Central HS) - Minnesota State

- Led the Mavericks at the Lucian Rosa Invite
- Finished in 20th place 
- Ran the 6K course with a time of 21:54.9
- Helped Mavericks place seventh at the meet
- Named NSIC Athlete of the Week for the second time this season (9/9/25)

Other Top Performances
Mallory Salazar (Sioux Falls)
- Won the 3600m Wildcat Classic
- Ran a time of 14:07.79 to win by over 20 seconds
- Helped USF to the team title with 18 points in the three team field
Madison Marco (SMSU)
- Led SMSU with a third-place finish in the 3,600-meter Wildcat Classic 
- Ran a time of 14:35
Allie Czapla (Wayne State)
- Was top WSC finisher taking seventh at Wildcat Classic
- Posted time of 15:01.66 on heat-shortened 3,600-meter course

About the NSIC
The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders.
