MANHEIM, Pa.- The NSIC leads all NCAA Division II conferences with 24 nationally ranked student-athletes, five No. 1-ranked individuals and six teams ranked in the NWCA Division II Men's Wrestling Tournament Power Index rankings released Thursday by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).

The NSIC's five top-ranked student-athletes are Minnesota State's Dominic Ducato at 133 pounds and Colton Hush at 141 pounds, the University of Mary's Jacob Strausbaugh at 149 pounds and Lane Ewing at 165 pounds, and St. Cloud State's Joel Jesuroga at 157 pounds.

Parkside ranks third overall with 58.0 point while the University of Mary is at No. 4 nationally with 57.5 points. Minnesota State is sixth with 53.0 points, followed by Augustana at No. 16 with 28.5 points, St. Cloud State at No. 18 with 27.0 points and Northern State at No. 21 with 22.0 points.

The NWCA Tournament Power Index evaluates a team's national tournament strength based on the rankings of its individual student-athletes, rather than dual-meet performance. Teams earn points according to their wrestlers' individual rankings, with higher placements earning more points.

Competition for the 2026-27 NCAA Division II wrestling season begins November 1. The next edition of the NWCA rankings is scheduled for November 19.
