NSIC Player of the Week
#5 Emma Humpal (UTL, Jr., R/R, Omaha, Neb. / Omaha Marian HS) - SMSU

- Hit 6 of 17 (.352), with eight RBIs, and three extra base hits in the Mustangs 3-1 weekend
- Two hits with two RBIs and one run in SMSU's 9-4 win over MSU
- The win marked the Mustangs' first win against the Mavericks since 2018
- Hit her first home run of the season in the second game of the doubleheader against MSU
- Added an RBI single against Upper Iowa in game one of Sunday's doubleheader
- Had a two-RBI double and a solo home run in game two against UIU

NSIC Pitcher of the Week
#15 Jayda Berg (RHP, Jr., R/L, Coon Valley, Wis. / Westby Area HS) - Winona State

- Opened the season with three complete-game wins
- Struck out 27 batters in 23 innings with zero earned runs
- Fanned 14 vs Southwest Baptist and nine vs Grand View
- Allowed just two unearned runs and seven hits

Others Top Performers  - Players
Maddie Helin (Minnesota State)
- Batted .467 in the doubleheader vs Southwest Minnesota with five hits, three RBIs, and three runs
- Recorded three extra-base hits and reached base consistently to lead the Mavericks
- Posted a perfect fielding percentage in the doubleheader
- Totaled four putouts with no errors
Boben Aune (Northern State)
- Hit .600 through four games with a team-high nine hits
- Drove in a team-high six RBIs with two doubles
- Recorded 11 putouts and five assists in the field
Emilee Marth (Wayne State)
- Went 4-for-6 with three RBIs and three runs in the doubleheader split at Dordt
- Was 3-for-3 with a double, home run, three RBIs, and three runs in the win
- Added a hit in the first game
Tiegan Mancuso (Winona State)
- Posted a .500 batting average with a 1.101 OPS
- Tallied five runs and nine hits during a 6-1 week
- Added a double in 18 at bats
- Recorded six putouts and two assists with no errors
- Had multiple-hit games three times and scored twice vs GVU and WJC

Wanner McKenzie (Northern State)
- Earned two complete-game wins for the Wolves
- Threw nine of the team’s 11 strikeouts over the weekend
- Allowed just seven hits and three runs in 14 innings
Jordyn Marsh (Southwest Minnesota State)
- Earned two complete-game victories over the weekend
- Allowed seven hits, four runs, and two walks with five strikeouts in the win over Minnesota State
- Added two hits, a double, a walk, and three RBIs in the same game
- Threw a complete-game shutout vs Upper Iowa with 11 strikeouts
- Added two hits and three RBIs again vs Upper Iowa
