NSIC men's basketball had five players honored on the 2025-26 D2CCA All-Central Region Men's Basketball Team. NSIC South Division Player of the Year Tameron Ferguson of Augustana and NSIC North Division Player of the Year Anthony Walters of the University of Jamestown both earned first team honors and will advance to the All-American ballot.
St. Cloud State duo of Wyatt Hawks and Luke Winkel took home second team honors along with Ben Kopetzki of Concordia-St. Paul.
Ferguson, hailing from St. Cloud, Minnesota, averaged 20.0 points, 6.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 35.8 minutes per game. He also shot 52.5 percent from the field, ranks 12th in the country with a 2.89 assist/turnover ratio and recorded 1.5 steals per game. He scored 20 or more points in 19 games this season and recorded six double-doubles, including five point-assist double doubles. The NSIC South Player of the Year is the only player in the country averaging at least 20.0 points and 5.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.
Walters averaged 20.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in 22 NSIC contests this season. A three-time NSIC North Division Player of the Week, Walters finished fifth overall in the conference in scoring average, as well as three-point field goal percentage (.412) and free throw percentage (.875). He posted 10 games with 20 or more points, and had two games of 30 or more points.
