NSIC Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Braylon Chism (Hurdles, Fr., Papillion, Neb. / Bellevue West HS) – Wayne State
- Placed third in the 400m hurdles at the
ESU Midwest Classic
- Ran a time of 55.04
- Ranks second in the NSIC in the 400m hurdles this season
- Helped WSC to a fifth place finish in the 16-team field
NSIC Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Braxton Stewart (Multis, Sr., Waukon, Iowa / Waukon HS) - Minnesota State
- Won the decathlon at the
ESU Midwest Classic
- Had an NCAA provisional qualifying score of 6,788 points
- Ranks third in NCAA Division II this season
- Took first place in four of the events of the decathlon
- Won the discus (38.94m, 127-9), high jump (1.87m, 6-1.50), pole vault (4.20m, 13-9.25) and shot put (13.86m, 45-5.75)

The NSIC is a 16-team, 18-sport, NCAA Division II conference with institutions located in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The NSIC is a model Division II conference that uses high-level athletics competition to develop champions in the classroom and community while empowering student-athletes to be impactful and positive leaders. Formed in 1992 by the merger of the Northern Intercollegiate Conference (men’s league) and the Northern Sun Conference (women’s league), the NSIC has flourished over the past quarter century, maturing into a union of Upper Midwest colleges and universities.
