JOPLIN, Mo. – No. 20 St. Cloud State Softball (46-15, 26-4 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) dropped its second game at the NCAA Central Region Tournament to No. 8-seed Augustana (31-27, 19-11 NSIC) on Friday at Pat Lipira Softball Complex in Joplin, Mo. The fifth-seeded Huskies fell 4-0 to the Vikings.
After the Huskies went down 1-2-3 in the top of the first inning, Augustana's first four hitters reached base on the first five pitches to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Senior
Macey Clark (Winneconne, Wis.) came on in relief and limited the damage to just three runs while leaving the bases loaded. Clark ended up pitching 5.2 innings and only allowed one run in the fourth inning to keep Augustana at bay.
The Huskies' offense only had three hits all game and never got a runner past second.

- Clark made her fourth appearance out of the bullpen this season. It marked the 23rd time in 33 appearances she has allowed one or none runs in an outing.
- Roe recorded her 13th multi-hit game of the season.
