Makenna had an amazing sophomore season for us and was a large reason for our success last year. The scary thing is she keeps getting better and has the desire and effort to continue to improve. She is a blast to coach because she comes with a ton of personality and energy everyday to practice and that energy really has a strong impact on her teammates.

Since stepping into this role, I've been impressed with this group's eagerness to compete and their willingness to embrace change. This year's roster has a strong foundation, with a great balance of veteran experience and young talent. This is a hungry group that's determined to compete and has a genuine passion for the game. I'm looking forward to seeing this group continue to grow and reach its potential throughout the season.

Maya's experience and senior leadership make her an invaluable part of our program. As a two-time All-NSIC selection and three-time NSIC Fall Academic Team of Excellence honoree, she has consistently demonstrated excellence both on the court and in the classroom. Her love for the game is obvious every time she steps on the court through the energy, enthusiasm, and competitiveness she brings. That passion is what drives her desire to coach after college, and I know she'll continue to make a positive impact on the sport long after she's done playing.

It is exciting to have so many returning players that are bought in to our programs growing vision. We have continued to progress in our ability to compete and I cannot wait to see what this group can accomplish this year.

Madi is such a steady presence on our team in all aspects. She is a driving force of competitiveness that pulls everyone around her to a higher standard.

Our team excites me this year because we have a gym filled with athletes that love to compete everyday. They are a really close group who have a ton of personality and are truly a funny group to work with. They are relentless with their ability to humorously rip on each other and feed off their good natured ribbing. We have some funny incoming athletes that I think will fit in great with their energy and effort.

Sophie is a high energy and quick defender. She has a great spirit about her and leads through example. She is a glue on our team and her humility lends itself to great influence with her teammates.

We have a good group of returners we've been developing since I took over the program. We've also been able to add some great people and talent to the team. I'm excited to see them work hard and compete together this fall.

Holli is a very explosive and competitive athlete. She continues to grow and develop in her play and also as a leader on our team. I've been blessed to know her better through my time here, she's loves the game, working hard, and her teammates. I'm excited to see her compete and continue to get better this fall.

As a team captain, Madison exemplifies leadership both on and off the court. A dedicated student-athlete, she maintains rigorous academic and athletic standards, serving as a role model for her peers. On the court, Madison brings exceptional intensity as a six-rotation outside hitter, consistently elevating team performance. As one of the program’s top offensive threats, her continued development during her senior season will be instrumental to the team's success.

We return the majority of our roster and this group is hungry to take another step this year after starting strong last year before injuries occurred. Our leadership group has the right approach and attitude to push this group and pull the best out of each other. We are excited to see the next steps that they take in their individual and collective growth as well as the energy and excitement that they bring to the gym each day.

Madeline is coming off a great Junior season that was interrupted by injury. She is a 6 rotation athlete that really came into her own last season and will impact our team and play in all aspects this season. In addition, she brings a positive leadership style to the table as she uses her experience in our program and on the court to help lead our group this year.

We enter this season with an outstanding blend of experienced returners, impact transfers, and talented first-year student-athletes who will all play significant roles in our success. While we are younger in some positions, we are very athletic, competitive, and committed to raising the standard of our program. Our schedule will test us every night and prepare us for the opportunities ahead. We expect to compete at a high level and continue building on the momentum from a year ago. Our goal is to be playing our best volleyball at the end of the season and position ourselves to do something special down the stretch.

Jadyn had a breakout season a year ago and has elevated her game even further throughout the off-season. Her relentless work ethic, competitive drive, and commitment to continuous improvement have positioned her for another outstanding year. Her selfless leadership on and off the court will be instrumental in our effort to build upon our accomplishments from last season.

I'm excited about the depth of experience we have in our program. The returning players have been apart of our system for multiple years now, and we have added some great newcomers and transfers that will continue to elevate the level of play for Dragon volleyball. We will have a tough pre-season which will prepare us for the NSIC conference play.

Raiah had a really good junior season, and in the offseason she continued to improve and build on her level of play. She is playing with confidence and is a key to our offensive success. Averaging just over 3 pts from the 2025 season she is looking to improve that and has worked on improving her overall game play.

There’s a renewed and elevated energy within Minot State Volleyball, and our returners have fully embraced the changes we’ve made since January. That momentum is only strengthened by the six freshmen joining us, who bring competitiveness and excitement to the gym every day. We’re prepared to play a stronger brand of volleyball built on disciplined defense and a more efficient offensive identity. This group is hungry, connected, and ready to make noise as we push ourselves higher within the conference.

Caton has been a steady, energizing leader throughout our program’s transition, consistently setting the tone with her work ethic and commitment on and off the court. She’s a true six-rotation competitor who embraces challenges and continues to elevate her game with every contact. Her growth as a smarter, more dynamic attacker has expanded her range and made her increasingly difficult to defend. Caton leads by example, supports her teammates, and carries a ceiling that makes her an easy choice as our player to watch this season.

We lost some very valuable pieces of our team with the graduation of Natalia Szybinska (OH), Abby Brooks (MB) and Abby Schauer (Libero) while adding seven new freshman this fall. We will rely heavily on our returners to carry a heavy load in practice and in matches this fall. I do think that we will have some very nice battles in practice and I look forward to watching how it all plays out. The turn around to our first preseason tournament will be pretty fast. I look forward to watching as our team develops a new identity that occurs with the graduation of three very talented players. The opportunity to step up is there for the next player to win playing time. As always we look forward to another competitive season in the NSIC.

Ava is a local player from Warner High School that was on our recruiting radar very early in her career. Ava has the ability to make players better around her. She has a very calm and positive demeanor on the court. Ava's a very well-rounded person on the court, in the classroom and life in general. Ava is relentless in her pursuit of excellence. She watches film, devours scouting reports, watches opponents' film, our practice film and never stops working to make technical changes in her game.

We graduated four starters from our 2025 team, so this year represents a passing of the torch to a younger group. I expect that the competitiveness in our gym will be reinvigorated as we seek to find our identity. I am excited about the new energy these players will bring to the court. I look forward to the challenge of preparing them to perform at a high level against an excellence conference.

Ella comes to every practice with a smile on her face, and shows up to every match with an expectation of excellence. She has an old school mindset about hard work, a blue collar attitude about training, and a chip on her shoulder to prove something. She embodies the team culture we are seeking to create, and she has been a leader on our team since the moment she arrived on campus. She is exciting to watch because her athleticism is off the charts and her enthusiasm on the court is unmatched.

We are excited about the level of competition that we will have on both sides of the net in our practices. We have a great group of returners, who know what it takes to play in our conference, and we have new players who can jump right in and contribute on the court and in the classroom. Once again, the NSIC will be stacked with tons of talent, and we are looking forward to the season!

Leah is the definition of what it means to be a Mustang. She is hard-working, coachable, determined and is a great leader and teammate. Leah has gone above and beyond what is asked of her as a student-athlete and is seen as a leader across the athletic department. We are excited about Leah's senior year and all of the great qualities she models for her teammates.

With the graduation of six players from last year’s roster, it has been extremely fun to watch new leaders grow and develop. There will be opportunities for a younger players to get out on the floor, to showcase the improvement that they made over the spring and summer, and it will be fun to see this team form their own identity again, as we hope to make another fun postseason run.

Shelby has been one of the most improved players to come through our program in recent history. Her growth and maturation is a volleyball player have been very impressive to watch and work with. She enjoys the game of Volleyball, she loves the process of getting better, and she is a Volleyball weapon in the front row back row and service line.

We are very excited about our team this fall. They are a close knit group that have worked hard in the off-season, and we are excited to be challenged day in and day out in the toughest volleyball conference in NCAA Division II.

Chloe is a dynamic middle hitter who has continued to get better in the off-season. She is very quick side to side, and we are excited to see what she is capable of this fall.

I am excited to see this group of young women compete. We will be scrappy and competitive, dynamic and fun!

Abby is a very dynamic player that can play wherever we need her. She has the ability to terminate and put up a big block! She is a true leader and competitor, and we are very excited about what she brings to our team.
