2019-20 NSIC All-Conference Performers
|
The top eight finalists in each event will be recognized during the meet with the top three receiving medals. Awards will be given upon the conclusion of the event. Athletes are strongly encouraged to wear their team uniform to the award stand. All-Conference performers shall consist of the top three place finishers in each event and the members of the top two relay teams.
The swimmer scoring the most points will be named Swimmer of the Meet. If there is a tie, a breakdown of relay points that each swimmer earned will be used as the tiebreaker. The diver scoring the most points will be named Diver of the Meet. The team scoring the most points will be named conference champion.
Season individual awards including, Freshman of the Year, Swimmer of the Year, Diver of the Year, Swimming Coach of the Year and Diving Coach of the Year, will be voted on at a short coaches’ meeting during the 3-meter finals.

NSIC Swimming & Diving History
NSIC Women’s Swimming & Diving first competed in 2012-13 as an eight team league. NSIC members included MSU, MSUM, NSU & SCSU. Affiliated members included Truman State, William-Jewell, Lindenwood and Nebraska-Kearney. In 2013-14 the league competed with six schools as William Jewell and Truman State left the league. The NSIC did not sponsor swimming & diving in 2014-15 & 2015-16. NSIC Swimming & Diving made its return in 2016-17 as Augustana, U-Mary and Sioux Falls joined with MSU, MSUM, NSU and SCSU to make up the seven team league. In 2019-20 season Southwest Minnesota State became the eighth NSIC member.
