Taytum Rhoades began her duties as NSIC Assistant Commissioner for Operations on June 24, 2024.

Rhoades compled her bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in psychology at the University of Minnesota Duluth where she was a standout on the women’s basketball team, including being named All-NSIC first team her senior season.  Rhoades has served as a marketing intern for the UMD athletic department, coordinating game-day activities.  She served as the NSIC summer intern in 2022 assisting with championship preparation and worked closely with internal and external constituents along with the leagues coaching groups. In 2023, she served in the recruiting internship program at Dexian, where she participated in a training program that interacted with senior level leadership and support mentors.  In the summer of 2020, she was a lead teacher at the Nativity of Mary Church in Bloomington, Minnesota. There she worked with children ages 5-9, making weekly plans and incorporating activities that engaged all age ranges. 

A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Rhoades is a 2019 graduate from Minnehaha Academy where she was named state tournament MVP in 2019 after leading the Redhawks to the state title.  At UMD she scored 966 points over 142 games, with 522 rebounds and 363 assists.  A starter the final two years of her career, Rhoades was part of three NSIC regular season championship teams, four North Division championship teams, and three NSIC Tournament Championships. She was also a key member of the 2023 NCAA Division II National Finalist team.
